Your word in my ear! April / May / June is pretty optimistic, do you think that mada will be up so quickly given the European situation?

I mean, NB would not be enough to go to mada, the whole country has to be open to me.

I will add a small detail, bubonic plague kills you after several days, so you can have some time to reach a good medical place for treatment, but there is also in mada the pneumonic plague.

This one kills you in 24 to 72 hours, si knowing the difficulty to travel inside mada, it's a bit more difficult to stay alive.

    Nice country.

I have not been to Nosy, as I thought its quite to commercial for my taste, but with that in mind I will perhaps do as he has rooms in his house to rent.

Interesting! Let us know if that guy's place is worth when you stay there. I would like to spend some time in NB once M opens up again but I am really scared of...malaria! And apparently malaria is everywhere in Madagascar's low lands. Thanks Tinte.

I thought you were posting current info, but as I look at your time stamps, we were both there about the same time this year (right before covid). I am expected to be inoculated within a few weeks so I am hoping to return once Invato opens.

    "Affichez-vous" (s'afficher, reflexive verb)

The meaning in standard French is "to show oneself publicly (with someone etc.)". Here she could have meant she wanted the man to state clearly what he meant or intended. Provided of course those were her very words (not always certain when listening comprehension in a foreign language is concerned).
