First of all. The maximum permitted stay is 3 months in Madagascar. After that its illegal. Usually you get bored out of your mind after a month. LOL. There is serviced apartments. I checked them out. Good standard. The problem mostly fully booked.

Alternative. Make a long time deal with a hotel a knock down prices. There is not a lot to do in the evening in Tamatave too. And its dangerous walking after nightfall. See if you last three months. LOL.

And there is only 3 good months weather wise. September to November. Low humidity. Low rainfall.

    La Buse.

A week in Nosy Be and you claim to have fucked all the women. Maybe all you did was standing in front of Taxi Be... You didn't look properly mate. There is 100's. Go to Tati Chris. There's a 100 alone there. LOL.

    Fianarantsoa The art of idling

What can you do in Fianar during the day? I found a number of places where you can idle have an espresso or tea. I call them my oasis where you can get away from the daily grind of pushy street vendors, Taxi Be who try to run you over, persistent beggars, open holes washed out from the crumbling tarmac, the dust, the sleet, toxic fumes, fine ground dust etc etc etc.

    Oasis No1:

    My favourite. Beautiful garden.

    Tsara Guest House.

    Fianarantsoa by night

First of all. Don't come to Fianar primarily to get laid. Can you get laid? Absolutely. Basically night life centers around 2 areas.

Area1 around Jax and the close by the Station Taxi brousse.

Area2 around the disco of Soafia. That is far off and has been surveyed by me only in daylight. If I come around I'll report.

The only option at night time is taxi. The tariff starts at 5000. As my hotel is in walking distance of Jax not a problem. I'll not write too much as most has been said already.

I started at New Hotel. Mostly young gasy lads in there nursing on their second or third beer. Generally the drunk gasy male is peaceful. Just some get obnoxious and want to be best friend with vazaha. Best to play along a bit. On the back of New Hotel there is the ST rooms with some girls to shag on premises. Thanks but no thanks. I'll leave that to the gasy guys. Apparently a quickie goes in there for 5000 AR. Go figure.

So I transferred ops to Jax. Good atmosphere. Gasy and international Dance Hall is on just as La Buse likes it. I parked myself outside on the small balcony overlooking the traffic flow to the toilets. Perfect vantage point to prey on chicas.

A bunch of obnoxious gasy boys tried to be good friends. Offering to hook me up. And get a cut of course. The 2 bouncers took care of them in no time and kicked their asses out of the club.
Night live starts comparably early and by 1000 pm the club is bustling with about 20 girls to take out. One small cotiere the best looking of the mostly Betsileo chic's was selected. I bought us another THB GM. First drink was 5000 include cover charge second was 4000. That keeps most of the gasy boys out as there is mandatory consumption and the beer is cheaper in New hotel...
I had another gasy a..hole interjecting... I actually physically pushed him off the dancefloor as he interfered with me grind my toliara chic down. He offered his translation service as the chic spoke no francais only oui... Who cares.
After a lapdance I just pointed with my thumb to the exit. No need for an extended conversation. LOL. The gasy pain in da neck shadowed us to the Dragon. Who cares. Maybe he wanted to bed her. Tough luck mate...
Time to unbox my 2019 early Christmas present.
Flawless tight body. Perky B cups well formed in my hand. Tight tiny ass. Ya. Toliara chicks rock. And braids down to the ass. Ticks all my boxes.
After an extensive DATY at the superwet pussy I slided in my rock hard dick in lazy doggy. Oui oui oui. LOL. Perfect french. Superwet and tight snatch. I shot 3 loads a la nature.
Don't forget. You pay them to get rid of them in the morning. I thought being in the deepest province 40k is an above average contribution. But sign and body language showed that she expects an additional banknote. Another 10k did the trick. And a big happy smile ran over her face.
    Hey its Christmas!

    Nosy Be December

My last trip to Nosy was in September 3 month ago so just a quick comparison.

Whether- Sep is better and cooler but Dec still is fine as its rain at night and not that much.

Tourist and Price- Definitely more tourists but far from full although harder to get discounts in hotels.

Girls- Again they are everywhere all type all age all color. Many light brown. If you can't get a girl here I suggest to drink a poison and avoid medical treatment. Nosy has the best accessible girls in Mada, I emphasize accessible because they are flooding the streets and you can get them.

Internet- Pretty fast non issue to play 1080 P youtube using WIFI.

Visa Extension- its sick easy. I did it in airport in less then 3 minutes. Nearly no documents needed. I took Bazaz from hell ville for 20 k both ways. Driver was waiting while I got my stamp and surprise I got back so fast. Price is 140 k for one month extension or 160 k for two month.

Gym- Shit place opposite Taxi Be-they have dual price for tourist and citizens. Thanks but no thanks.

Coffee- best place for coffee and Yogurt is here https://goo.gl/maps/KgekQHB5UVby8Qz16 this is in the center of daytime action. Capuchino is 3 k.

Hell Ville- Did mongering tour and got some girls numbers but nothing to write home about Better to focus Dar es Salaam. But I like to explore there.

    La Buse.

Who think that Nosy is currently the best SSS destination in the world. Sea, Sex, Sun.

Taxi from airport to helle ville was 5 k for Expert using a trick. Then 3 k Taxi Collective to main action ambatoloaka.

My route this time is two month Nosy plus Ambanja and Ambilombe.

Why I cancel Toliara? I was tuning for route efficiency and whether. Toliara too hot now.

From now I report on girls only.
Good decision. Nosy Be should be still good even during rainy season. My mate lives here all year round. They don't seem to like your passport. LOL. But no problem to get extension in Nosy Be. Even me I am happy now to be stuck in Fianar. Probably best climate right now in the whole of mada. Girls? They are there. Like everywhere else.

Tulear now you have to go into hiding from 1100 o'clock till 1600.

Here 18 to 25 centigrade. As pleasant as it gets. Enjoy.

commission (around 2. 5%) during the exchange process?

I have both Visa & MC cards from my banks that are first converting Euros to US Dollars, and then to the required currency (MGA etc.).

So using a debit card (or a credit card) does not sound a good solution for me.

Forget the cash. Bad exchange rate. Use a multicurrency card like Revolut. You can switch all major currencies ie. Deposit dollars. And pull out Ariary from the ATM at midmarket rates. IMO cash I use only in countries with a black market rate like Angola, Ethiopia or Nigeria.

Get rid of these useless bankcards. Most merchants accept cash only anyway. Its not Kenya where you can use Mpesa at every street corner.

    La Buse.

Always take a couple of 100 euro notes emergency cash. ATM at the airport are sometimes empty or people upon arrival are pulling all the cash out..I always change 100 euros cash to have enough money to get taxi to town...

    Fianarantsoa First impressions

I sort of resigned myself to spend Christmas in this town. The great thing is the very pleasant climate. Gentle hills with houses tucked on steep hills. Basically you can divide Fianar in 3 parts. The lower town which includes the business district with the bustling markets. Not the nicest place to be in. Loads of beggars ply their trade including small kids in ragged clothing. Mangy street dogs. Noise. Open overflowing smelly sewers.

The upper part of town including the town hall some banks and some good restos and the usually wide avenue built by the French colonisers is a lot nicer.

On top of it all is the Old town. Haute ville. Very pleasant great vistas over the valley with a smattering if christian churches perched on top of the hill. Est. 1859.

I'll follow on a night live report and recommended lodgings and eateries soon.

I've seen a few beauties but in general Betsileos are rather on the uglier side. Short stocky.

Before leaving I applied for 4 extra Master / Visacards claiming to offer near zero % commission for foreign ATM withdrawels to see what results they would yield in Madagascar. A Revolut Visacard and 3 Mastercards, N26, Transferwise and Monese.

I personally prefere using Monese. They will offer you 200 EUR free withdrawels at the Mastercard exchange rate, if you upgrade to classic 4,95 EUR/month they will allow you to withdraw an additional 800 EUR and unlimited withdrawells if you upgrade to premium 14,95 EUR/month. You can upgrade and downgrade whenever you like.

N26 has the same mastercard exchange rate as Monese and a very similar pricing plan but you are on a yearly plan. I only travel 1 to 2 months a year so I prefer Monese.

Revolut has been less interesting for me. They add about 1% to the Visa exchange rate whatever plan you may be on and Visa is about 0,3% less favorable than Mastercard but it is a Visacard so you have more ATM's you can withdraw from. Revolut is my backup card.

At the end of the day there isn't that much difference between all of them. They where all better than exchanging cash at the official bureaux de change.
I got a Revolut visa now too. Visa worked anywhere. But of course the fees are steep and the exchange rate is bad too. Revolut should cut the fees two thirds in comparison of a cash withdrawal with my regular Visa. Good enough for me.
