First the bad news. Taxi Be Tamatave seems to have been closed down for good by the authorities. Apparently there were m. Ors frequenting that place so they lost their operating license. Now the good news. While Tana is bustling with tourists which reflects in price increases, especially hotels, Tamatave remains unchanged price wise. Climate very pleasant and loads of hot chics roaming everywhere. I love Betsimisaraka chics. Most of them have good tits and fair skinned. Yesterday I had a date with a drop dead gorgeous nonpro. She had slant eyes with an asian touch to drown in and her cleavage oooh boy. But playing coy we just went for a soda then I dropped her at home.

Got a flight with tsaradia for 120 euros took 2 hours. 50 k taxi to tana airport. In Diego 30 k taxi to hotel.

My bag got left behind in Tana and lots of bags did, apparently there is a back log so they take bags off and put on left behind bags from the previous flights so for days people have been having bags left behind, I met people in the hotel who had the same problem a few days prior. It did turn up to my hotel the next day though.

Stayed at la terrasse du voyageur for 54 k room. Not walkable to the action from here. Hotel ambassador I passed seems to be closer to the bars / clubs, I paid tuk tuks 1 k day and night. Taxi 3 k at night.

Wasn't here long. I just saw Facebook contacts paid 30 k short term. But ventured out once on a weekday.

La vahinee. Lots of expats, maybe 15 or so girls, as previously reported there was some poor girls. One doable girl for me. They all move onto taxi be which is 50 m away shortly before 11 pm.

Taxi be. Also loads of expats in here. Maybe 20 or more girls.

It seems the police checkpoints are back in business. That's why I never bother with Taxi Be. I went in there twice. But I managed to sneak past la Police. And if the weather is bad and later on they're gone. I usually call it an early night. There is sweet girls everywhere. No need to hang out until 2 o'clock in the morning. And right besides Manson there is accommodation. Upstairs at no comment bar. I have been checked by La Police a couple of times but never paid anything.

But I'll land on isle rouge in 5 days.

Said than done, but if you carry a photocopy of your passeport, there isn't much they can do to you. 20 k is the maximum you should pay.

Left Tana for now, I didn't pay it but there is a 20 k charge per night for double occupancy at select hotel.

I think Manson is the best spot though I find some can be rude in there when you turn them down or decline to buy them a drink.

BNI bank and sociate general both take mastercard no fees.

Took 72,000 return cotisse bus to tamatave from tana, I booked a few days in advance took 9 hours.

Stayed at flamboyant hotel 60 k for room with A/Cand balcony, room has seen better days but everything works.

La terrace. Good food, maybe 10 or so girls in the back on a weekday evening. Weekend evening 20 or so in there. They start moving elsewhere close to 11 pm.

Taxi be. Walked down here and it was closed. A girl later told me the police have closed it down.

Queens. This is a walk down the road from la terrace in the other direction to taxi be. On a weekday this was quite empty had about 10-15 girls and a few guys by 11 pm, though no other clubs open apparently. Weekend bit busier but still quite empty, some girls seemed to come for one drink after terrace and move on.

New York New York. Saw only a few of the worse girls from Queens in here and then just locals and tourists. 10 k entry.

Pandora. Big place loads of girls, lots from terrace and queens moved on to here. Beers only 4 k too. It's a bit further out than the other places, police checkpoint on the way.

There are a few street walkers on the road between la Terrace and queens.

Paid 50 k for the night here.

Thanks for the mission update. Heading to Tamatave on Wednesday. Booked on Cotisse Premium riding in style. I heard of TB in Tamatave being closed already. Which is a bit of a pain in the neck as Pandora is far and have to run the police gauntlet. But I have a waiting list on Afro of eager 19 to 20 year old Betsimisiraka chicas already.

My expat contacts told me a hilarious story. Apparently due to the recent visit of the pope they pulled all the licenses of Discotheques being dens of prostitutions. LOL. I liked it for the convenience but at that time last year pandora was closed. So maybe somebody paid to keep Taxi Be closed as before Pandora was the premier discotheque....

Back to Isle rouge at last. The long haul Air France deposited me on time. Immigration flawless efficient. Paid 40 Euros for 60 days on arrival. Sort out extension later. Hotel prices are up in Tana. Practically nowhere less than 75 k. Rest remains the same. Although some glacier girls want to maximize profits. Case in point donated 60 k. Betsimisiraka girl asked for a 10 k tip on TOP. Ok. Noted to not pay the bribe next time. But I'd rather just avoid it and stay away from taxi be, you see the same girls either earlier or on other days at glacier and Manson so no need to go.

Don't feel bad about paying bribes. In fact I paid a couple of times in Senegal. What I refuse to pay silly money. I tip like 1 to 2 euros. I consider it a tip for the poor bugger of police man who sometimes doesn't get paid for months on end and has a family to feed. On top of his meagre salary he has the real chance of getting killed in the line of duty by armed cattle rustlers or bandits. You did well by standing your ground and refuse to pay silly money though. For me I make it a game to sneak past police checkpoints. They are usually at the same spot mostly choke points. I could write a book about bribes.
