    130 k?

    1. I would strongly recommend an SUV because the roads are in bad condition and there are too many accidents. The SUV offers a little more safety than a sedan. I saw a bunch of nasty accident sites on the road.

    2. For multiple day flexible itineraries, it makes most sense to have a set daily rate and then pay for the fuel. My daily rate was 130 k / day that covers the car, driver, driver stay / meals, etc. I think it's hard to get this rate remotely. Maybe through drive Mada website. But, you can shop around and get started at short notice. I like to inspect the vehicle, talk to the driver, and set specific details in-person before agreeing and paying. Then, I paid 50% and the other half is due at the end of the trip. They started at 200 k / day and settled on 130 k. So, it helps to negotiate within reason.

    3. The manager filled up the tank in front of me and I am supposed to return a full tank at the end of the trip. The mileage of the SUV, as per the manager; is 12-15 kms per liter. That's just for an estimate on fuel expenses. What matters is that I return a full tank.

    4. Most hotels offer free room and board to drivers. If you are traveling off-season, then the driver's room can be just like your room. That's a good thing because then your driver is well-rested and can do his job properly.
130 k man. That's nothing. I was quoted ridiculous prices. Thumbs up. But you're an Africa professional. I am not worried you getting lost. Make use of your SUV and sample the hard to reach places.

    Thumbs up from.

    4) there is a newly launched website https://tsaradia.com/ where you can do yourself, it's only in french and you can pay with Mvola (local payment in Mada) or credit card (I think there is a % more for this option but still very cheap) - Price will be around 130 Euros.

I did not know at the beginning and ended up paying the Airmadagacsar prices booking in local agency, but now this option make flying a lot cheaper!!

You get 12-15 kms / LT. So you can compare.

The wife was French too. And seemed very " proper".

I suppose you mean Andasibe National Park, one of the most famous parks in Mada.

What's the name of your hotel? I presume Feony Ala la! Good address.

I suppose that you speak about Antsirabe, and reallly its not a mongering place, but even there you succeed in finding nice adventures!

Regarding your driver, you found it in Tana? Asking to hotel staff? And if I understand well its 130 k / day but you pay for fuel in addition? Just to compare to my 700 k car / driver / fuel for 3 days. But not 4 x4.

Good feedback about the french couple also at restaurant, the wife was french too or Malagasy ?

The best way, for sure. If your driver works out, could you pass along the contact when you've finished? The one I used last time was adamant about being off the road by nightfall. No starting out for Antsirabe or anywhere in late afternoon.

    Popped my Mada Cherry

Andisabe is a cold and rainy place. Works for me. Spent the morning hiking in the national park and checking out the lemurs. Strongly recommended. By the time I was done, it was too late to head to the coast. After shopping around a few hotels, I found a great deal for a bungalow and the staff was very friendly. I invited them to have some rum with me and the driver. Four roughed-up glasses, five irregular cubes of ice, and six people showed up in five minutes, The rum was gone in twenty minutes. I was told there is no nightclub in Andisabe but there are some small bars. So, where does one find a girlfriend? Four of the six guys pulled out their phones and, according to my driver, asked their female friends if they would like to meet a handsome tourist who likes to have fun. At least someone, somewhere, thinks I am handsome! Two of them had leads for me. We drove off to meet one of the girls, and if I didn't like her, I could check out the other one. I was assured that if I didn't like either, they would make more phone calls.

I agreed on the first one, a gorgeous 19 year old, from 10 m away. But I wanted her to like me too. The hotel fellow insisted she will like me and my driver thought I was foolish when I requested him to park the car. We had a good conversation over water and soda and she was in the car and back at the bungalow in 10 minutes. She was a delight. Not very experienced but beautiful with a great attitude. We had two rounds of love punctuated by her first lick job that left her moaning and hissing. The bed creaked and the entire wooden bungalow came alive. We stepped out for dinner. There was one family and several couples at the restaurant. We did get a few stares, which I took as compliments. The middle-aged French guy on the table next to us couldn't stop looking at my girl and his overweight wife was visibly irritated. It was not my intention to be mean to my neighbor but it might have turned out that way because I was asking my girl a bunch of naughty questions using google translate and she was reading them out softly, giggling, and then giving me mostly oui and non answers.

The chef had prepared my dinner precisely the way I had explained earlier in my broken French. I personally went to thank him in the kitchen, which he appreciated. I also took the opportunity to ask him where I could find some condoms. He came back to the table few minutes later and said "no need to go to the village" and plonked down five condoms on the table. He said "Cinq" and asked me (in french) if I needed more. The expression on my girl's face was adorable. A little embarrassment, a little humor, and a little nervousness. The response of the French couple was priceless. The woman did the classic French thing. Blowing air out of her mouth and shrugging. I wasn't quite sure how to respond, and in the confusion, said "good for now," and then added, "maybe more tomorrow morning. " The french guy finally gave in and laughed with me much to the disapproval of his wife.

We had a lovely night together. She got on all fours and invited me to take her from the back. She grunted in various frequencies till we found the right rhythm with slow and deep thrusts. She clinged to me through the cold and rainy night. We woke up to the loud wailing of the Indris and had slow sleepy sex, but only after putting a condom on. Today is World AIDS Day! We showered together, and while my mind was ready for some love in the shower, my body was not. We had a nice breakfast and I dropped her off on the main road with a gift and some cash to get a nice dress.

    Non pro Report

    Great going Martin!

    Thanks Neddy and Albert!

Will try to see Anna when I am back in town next week.

Also, I didn't mention earlier but I prefer daytime action or atleast have a partner in place in the daytime. Rather than go looking at night.

Got a photocopy of my passport stamped for 2,000 ariary and spent a few hours walking around the busy market near LE Glacier. Ducked into LE Glacier a few times but didn't see anyone interesting. Same pros hanging out with friends, drinking beer, and waiting. As I was walking, my eyes settled on a salesgirl at a cell phone shop. She gave me a beautiful smile. I walk onwards but looked back and exchanged a smile. Thrice. I paused and stood at the corner and kept looking. There were 4-6 other girls with her and one guy. The guy was pushing her towards me and the girls were all smiling and teasing her. I mustered the courage to walk back to the store. The Chinese owner and his wife came out as well. I didn't even try my French. I asked her name but she didn't respond. One of her friends told me her name. I told her she is beautiful and asked if she would like to come out for some coffee. The boss intervened and said that she needs to work at the shop until 6 pm and joked that she could work for me after that. His wife said I could take my girl if I bought a phone. It was a friendly turf, everyone was smiling, and so I asked for her number. She didn't have a phone but a friend volunteered to be the intermediary. She promised to bring her to me after work.

After 20+ text messages, the friend and my girl showed up at the restaurant above LE Glacier around 6:15 pm. I had promised to reimburse her for the texting expense. We got some drinks. A mojito for me and juice for the two girls. She was 19 with the perfect baby fat, nice curves, and a dazzling smile. Google Translate helped us communicate. She couldn't stay overnight because she had to return home to her sister. She gave a few shy goodbye kisses outside the restaurant. Nice firm derrire. She promised to meet me at noon the next day, and spend the rest of the afternoon with me. I got some zebu and rice, another THB, and returned to my hotel. Took another walk around and found nothing interesting.

I was uncomfortable building expectations with my new friend and decided to leave town. After reading a number of travel blogs, Taxi Brousse just didn't sound appealing for my travel style. Arranged for a car and driver for eight days and headed out to Andisabe in the late afternoon. Got a 4 WD SUV with driver for 130 k / day + fuel. My girl was disappointed that I couldn't meet her but I promised to meet when I am back. I am not sure if I will keep my promise. I like to play with breasts but not with hearts. If you are looking for non-pros, the opportunities are endless. However, it is good to play with honesty and clear expectations so it does not weigh on your conscience.

    Boredeom.

I have finished nearly 3 month in Mada and my conclusion is that best is to come for 30 days only. Next week I will coming again from Addiss returned ticket 412 USD.

SO one month in Mada one Ethiopia and one in Gulu Uganda and Mwanza Tanzania. Returned ticket Addis ENTEBBE only 200 usd.

After running in every possible Mada town my list narrowed to Tana and Nosy Be. (only because of the beach and flight from Addis). So coming to nosy and return from Tana. This is multi destination booking for 400 usd return. I will stay 2 weeks next to Ivato a paradise for sex. Hundreds of girls walking at every single moments and forget downtown Glacier area in Tana.

Low cost flight, or pretty low cost!

What I am going to tell you now is a game changer in the logistic of Madagascar, at least it changed a lot (and better) my trip. Let me give you a practical example:

    1) go online on airmadagascar.com and search a flight Antanarivo Nosy Be. Price is around 250 Euros.

    Boredeom threshold

As for beaches, a shame they're so dirty, but with no indoor plumbing, what can you expect.
Basically there is the boredom threshold and the second equation is how much you want to suffer in Taxi Brousse.

So its to choose the best boredom / suffering threshold. Suffering can be overcome by spending loads of money on airfare 4by4's and high-class accommodation.

Boredom can be overcome by spending money on golf courses french classes big game fish hunting snorkeling sailing to outlying nosys. So I confirm boredom threshold low in Nosy Be. Suffer threshold also low. Fly from Tana or Addis. And get laid 24/7.

    Neddy.

Who has not reached his boredom threshold in Nosy after close to 3 weeks now. And counting. I reached already a meditative stage of total relaxation. Beats every ashram. Hehe.
