But. Most of them don't have an ID to get them into many (but not all) of the hotels.
She was one of them, sitting in front of Sole Hotel and followed me upstairs to my room when I arrived 2:00 morning and left once the sun came up.

I think Madagascar seems a lot like the Philippines in 2006 when I went and enjoyed some cool chicks for $20 a day. From what I hear from this forum, the girls of Angeles and their amazing attitudes are no more Seems like Madagascar gives me the best combination of cheap chicks with great attitudes, very similar to Angeles at its prime. Would you say this is so?
Funny, I have that lens but think of it as more for birding than girling.
On the D5 I can get surprisingly good results at ISO 51,200 in super-dark nightclubs. I would suspect you could get away with at least 12,800 with the D750. Hope you give it a try and report back.
The guys at the Leica store who of course want to sell me the Q say that photographers have gone to the brokest of countries with the Q without incident. Google Leica Q review to see how addictive this absurdly expensive camera is.
Am quite in suspense about your story with the naked hottie you found bathing. Any luck with her or was she the one that got away?

Security is not a problem I saw a guy in Nosy-Be with 80-400 VR shooting girls like ducks. The photos that I took in Miss Mettise was shoot in a very dark bar at ISO5000 not to mention that Beach strong backbit require wide Dynamic range.
So, Go with the dream D5!

It depends on your budget as well.
You need to try on the spot.
Don't believe what they tell you if you contact an hotel by email.

Could you share tips on how to secure costly DSLR gear? I have a Nikon D5 and several lenses. Am thinking of getting a Leica Q so as to not terrorize people, since it should look like a cheap compact camera to most. LOL. I want to bring all my gear for nature photography since I want to combine sex with critters. Any thoughts? Would I be better off just taking the Q or, would I regret not having long lenses?

When I bought my ticket to Nosy-Be at "Premier class" office at Majunga I thought its Pattaya style, door to door from my hotel at Majunga deep into the hot babe bed in Nosy Be. I was wrong.
The destination was only Ambanja town the closest to Nosy-be. I was keeping a previous report posted by ISG member. The trip took 13 hours which the road was not in a good condition entirely.
We had only 2 passengers in the entire luxury VAN. When we arrive I ask the driver to take me to the hotel Meridien.
"I can personally recommend Hotel Meridien which is off the main street but not far, and very conveniently located just down the street a 1 minute walk from the hottest place to see and talk to and take to bed the hottest girls in Ambanja, night club Nirvana."
Unfortunately, a few days ago the hotel was under construction as entire floor was build above my head. This hotel indeed located next to Nirvana.
I decided to check every hotel in town, every dog house every hole. Eventually I found the best: Hotel Hibiscus in the center of town. As always the receptionist will point you to the most expensive room category in the hotel but I was checking hotels before the idiot was even born. So I took an excellent room for 35 K.
The guy told me that this room is available only for 1 night so I said no problem I will move to another room. He said no! The entire rooms in the hotel are booked for 3 days starting tomorrow. Weekend.
WTF? What about club Nirvana? What about fucking the hottest girl in town?
OK I had half day to monger daytime but I also 70% tourist so I took the camera and had to the outstanding sighting at the Sambirano river bridge. While changing lens to my 85 MM I saw a naked woman bathing and potentially masturbating 200 m away. It was so far I didn't took my zoom with me and that was far then my lens reach. Holly shit I took a few photos and decided to get down from the bridge into the river and try to get a BBJ. But the way down was very very far and she was started to get dressed.
To be continued.

The the other poster: Mahjunga and Tamatave are the 2 decent options if you want to avoid expensive air fares ex Tana. To both destinations its a full day trip (To Tamatvae use Cotisse Bus). 2 weeks is just ok to explore both. But it will take up 4 full days on the road! In your planning try to travel Monday, Tuesday, as those days are slow in the discos.
The girls are different in their characteristics, but both towns worthwhile a weeks stay.
In smaller towns along the road it can be adventure pure, but you may also end up sleeping very alone in a dirty shack.

Posts: 90Tamatave vs. Majunga: Skip Majunga?
I will be visiting Mada in early-mid December for 14 days. The trip is 80% monger, 20% tourism. To avoid excessive travel days and air fees, I'm confining myself to the towns within the vicinity of Tana (<1 day travel from the capital by road). I plan to visit Tamatave and Majunga.
I've seen so many positive reports on Tamatave, and so few negative reports, that the town will receive a visit. Majunga doesn't appear to have such an enthusiastic fan base, but it's in the vicinity of Ankarafantsika NP, and that gives me an excuse to be in the area. Is this Majunga a worthwhile destination? Or should I skip it and reside only in Tana and Tamatave? That's my dilemma, but I'm willing to find out for myself.
However, my question for the forum is this: Am I missing any towns near Tana that might be of interest? For instance, I've seen passing references to Antrisabe, but nothing concrete enough to stand out.
I understand that I'm missing out on Nosy Be, the vanilla coast, and Tulear. However, with my limited time, I'll have to wait for another trip to visit those places.

I advised him I was also in Tamatave, and suggested he walk 2 minutes down the street to La Terasse where there would be many girls hanging out dying to meet him. He responded he could not do this and instead sent me his phone number and asked to share the girl I had. A serious, WTF.

Back then the rooms were large and clean, they had a safe, and the beds were OK. The restaurant was terrible, but who cares with so many options in the area. It is a basic hotel, and the "lobby" is little more than a desk in the stairwell.
It is located right on the Avenue de L'Independence, so there can be some noise from the lively street, and you will also be surrounded by beggars and hawkers the moment you step outside the lobby. It is about 30 meters from Glaicier bar, so if that is your preferred hunting ground, the location is perfect.
It is a fine option for a short stay, where you just need a basic room and a bed close to Glacier, but for longer stays I would choose something different.
The main downside is the reputation that come along with the Glacier brand. If you chase pros or semi-pros at Glacier bar or Indra, this will not be a problem. But if you hunt for regulars they will not be impressed by your choice of hotel. And if you are in Tana for business then avoid Hotel Glacier like the plague.
