Some background, I'm an experienced travelling third world scavenger and believe I can handle basic security challenges, so no need for "friendly advice to stay away" but thanks anyway. I have some free time before upcoming Asia trips and thought I'd check out Madagascar as airfares to Mada seem reasonable. I'm looking at touching down in either Tana or Nossy Be. My French is probably passable, we will see.

I have been checking out Badoo and constantly get most hits from Tana, in fact Nossy Be girls are rare. I guess many of the Tana girls are freelancers, but I haven't really cracked the code how to tell FLs from more regular girls.
