Booked for end of September. Can't wait! All I can say is yah fucking hoo! Saves me the hassle of searching out the testing place in CDG before heading to a hotel for the night. Anybody ever stayed at Shanghai in Tana? I see a lot of good reviews of the restaurant but not much on the rooms themselves. I like the location.

Posts: 151The situation in Antananarivo is not like before the pandemic, bars like manson are not crowded and most of the time you see not so beautiful and desperate girls. I guess provencial girls know that there is no vazaha and they don't come to Antananarivo, even street walker scene is not like before.

If Tsaradia is cancelling their tests for local flights is blurr: some news say yes, some say no. Its done anyway direct at the airport before departure. No big hassle.
On departure in Tana it depends on the entrance-rules of your country. But you better have documents from your embassy on hand. Sometimes over eager staff claim that all foreigners needs to be tested.

All passengers must also pay for a COVID test upon arrival at the airport. This is required, regardless of vaccination status. The test costs $20 USD / 15 euro.

From what I understood in the article the PCR test being dropped is the one for Madagascar national to travel to Europe, not the other way around. In other words the pre departure PCR is still required for people flying TO Mada. Correct?
