Thanks for the info. It is exactly what I intend to do. After much searching a while ago I found Neddy's post from around 2 years back (I think!) and it sounds much like what you did. IIRC he paid 88 K and did the legwork himself. Being a lazy prick I will probably spend the extra and do just what you did. 32 K to avoid hassles and hoofing it around is well worth it to me. Hell it's only the price of a short time! How's the weather in Tamatave?/ Pissing down?
BTW the coordinates you posted don't seem to make sense. 1809 degrees?

Today I had extended my 2 month visa in Tamatave 1809'15.7"S 4924'51.6"E.
Officer propose two options.
1. hard which I need to visit multple office which mean no visa.
2. Easy way which I need to do nothing.
I told him option 2.
He took us to a photoshop to print both flights to Tana and from Tana. Also we photocopied our passports and visas and finally we took 2 passport photos. All that time the police officer took care of everything. He actually left the office and went with us. The location of this photo shop is just next to that government office.
I paid 120 K and 20 K Tip. End of story.

I m just tired of guys acting like pussy in front of girls.
We are talking about FL here so having a reference to FKK is pointless and nobody orders an escort in mada. Even in the massage ripoff joints in mada people pay after.
I never paid before neither in mada nor anywhere. My money my rules. Period.

But go to any FKK or order an Escort online: once the girl is in your room, first thing she is asking is money on the table, because she has to report it to her pimp.
Its even the case in the few brothels in Mada.

When you read that everything in Tana is NORMAL you will shortly realized the Normal means no restriction at all in all aspects of the daily life. For exmple I see that around 80% walking with masks but inside clubs no one wear any mask. Social distancing? No such things. Well the world already moves away from Covid and Tana has Zero restrictions in this regards.
Cottiss transport has a new office in front of Tripolista Hotel, In fact it's just a small stand. I bought a ticket to Tanatave for the VIP for 60 K. For eating the is a new extension of Gastro Pizza next to glacier. It's a huge*place, two floors with have a coffee shop downstairs and on the second floor food. New proposition is the combo for 10 K the cost double in Pizza Gastro.
Sexy girls in the daytime are everyware, just go and take a contact number or better the FB messenger. Antananarivo weather is perfect nearly zero rain so far.
The lack of tourist is evident, if Tana was an easy place for mongering now I feel that its even easier. (girls ae eager due to 2 years closure) I just came here from Colombia, DR and Mexico. No country will beat Mada for price, girls and the effortless you can bring girls to your room.

Very nice boots on the ground reports from nio and pokeris. I hope I can finally make it there in early April as well.
Reading many reports it seems to me like standard is paying after. Would that also apply to tamatave cottis brothels and glacier hardcore hookers or is it always just very relaxed?

Posts: 526I am hoping Air Mauritius starts to fly again by the time I want to go. Normally I arrive from SEA and they are by far the easiest route from there.
Pokeris, where do you figure you will apply for your extra month visa extension? I will be doing the same thing and will be interested to see how that process goes. Good luck and thanks for posting so those of us not going soon can live vicariously! I am jealous.

Several meetings with different organizations were done, for example with Mauritius or Ethiopian Airlines. Open the airport of Nosy Be is one thing that important. But of course just plans until today and dates are given.

Nice to hear that you are on the ground and having fun as usual there!
Wish you a good trip, and if you chose to go down to Tulear and Ifaty, I would be interested to know what happen to Bella Donna Hotel, if they survive.
I had some news 2 months ago saying they are still there.
