Hi Guys,

I will be visiting Mauritius again next month after several years. I even forgot the name of the night club I last picked up from. This time I plan to stay near Mon Choisy Beach in Grand baie.
Any inputs on any nightclub or pick up joints within walking distance or I have to go far for mongering.

Zanzibar Club up north by Gran Bay is a good place, hit it on like a Thursday night and you will have about 20 girls of all races swarm you. Expect to pay about 2000 to 5000 ruppies or about 50 US dollars, you will have the girls for a few hours. They are all clean and most fully shaved. Some times depending on the club you might also have to pay a nominal fee for a cab driver to takeyou to a "hotel". Mauritius is a safe place where you can have lots of adult fun if you know where to look. Stay out of Port Louis at night cause it is more dangerous but there is still lots of street girls, but they are lower end girls. In Quatre Borns I have seen some cute street girls but no experience with them, but some of my local friends have had them and have good times. Up ouside of Grand Bay there are a few brotlel "strip clubs" where ladyboys will arrange the details with the girls to make it easyer for you if you want.

Damn, I forgot but is you take the main road that goes directly south inland at the first round about you will be close to Zanzibar Club and just down the road is another brothel. This is a safe country and if act cool you will be treated like a king. Hell even in the normal tourst clubs we can find working girls, but be more careful around them, not they I ever had a bad experence with them but you never know gentlemen. I will be back there in a few months and I will prepair a good report for all.

You can have a good time here for cheap.

Be careful when taking a girl to the room, I once was in the "Manisa" hotel. They officially state that there are no strangers allowed on the rooms. So you'll either have to sneak by the reception and security, or bribe them with about 500 RS. The easier way would be to officially book a second person for that night to the room, then all is ok.

Huh? I already have written everything about FeF. No, there is nothing officially "redlight" in whole Mauritius, as I wrote: "Prostitution is not allowed". There are dance / nightclubs where you can get in contact with girls, and in the north there are two "somewhat illegal" clubs. For those you better ask a taxidriver to take you there.

In the Center of FeF (this is where the "Bank of Mauritius" branch is located), when you walk the mainstreet uphill, there are two massage / Spa locations. One about 200m on the left side of the street, one about 700 m on the right side in the 1st floor. The first one is run by two really cute looking girls (which are lesbian as far as I heard ) the other one I heard is more the sort of massage you're looking for.

Be friendly, and watch for single (or group of) girls at bars, shopping malls or the beach. I also had some luck when I made eyecontact with a girl, which was sitting together with an already flirting couple (so I took care of the other girl, and the ciouple was happy).

Hi all, due to business needs, I've stayed now several times on Mauritius over the last year on the westcoast area in Flic-en-Flac. Of course since I was Single at nights I was very interested in getting some acompany

Generally speaking: Officially, Prostitution is not allowed by Mauritian law, there's absolutely no tolerance against drugs, and Police is king. OTOH, if you know the right people, if you respect them and be friendly, everything is possible! Mauritius is no Third-World Country like most of Africa, they're way more European oriented and try hard to catch up.

FeF is a very touristic area, unfortunately most guests stay at the big highclass resorts. I was three times at the Sofitel resort. Almost all guests are Honeymooners or couples, thus there's nothing to catch at the hotels. Even though a lot of the waitresses are very pretty and friendly, they are not allowed to have contact with guests and after work they have to catch their bus to go home. Thus forget dating in those hotels.

FeF has no real nightlife, but there are lots of restaurants, two discothecs (they call it "nightclub") and a little music bar.

Restaurants close down around 22:00, and the waitresses are then tired.

That musicbar is called "Kenzi Bar", it's near the SPAR supermarket (one street behind); it looks like a caribian beach bar. On weekends there's livemusic (Jazz, Folk, Rock, Ragae) and a lot of friendly people are showing up there. 21:00 to 23:00, most times open up to 01:00 or even later (depending on the guests) Sometimes stewardeses or tourist guides are relaxing there and are happy to have someone taking care of them Sometimes some young girls stay there looking for some sponsors. Sometimes there are a couples of tourist girls (but those are hard to break up, they stick together.)

The two nightclubs are currently the SHOTZ and the Manisa, both located directly at the Public beach, maybe 500m distance from the center (which is the Spar market). There was another one called "Arena" on top of the SPAR market, but that is closed currently.

SHOTz is the newest one (which killed the Arena), very European, lots of places to sit and talk and have some snacks, a dancing area and loud music. (On top of Shots is a "American Sports Bar", with good steaks and fish, BTW)

Lots of tourists, and on weekends lots of beautiful girls. A lot of the African-type ones speak only French or Creole, thus if you're only Englishspeaking, you'll have some difficulties.

The nightclub at Manissa is opening only on Weekends (ie. Friday/Saturday), and is a regular loud discotheque, no way to talk. A lot of Mauritian people are there. Also on weekends the Public Beach is full of folks and tents, having Parties or Familiy-reunions. You will have drums, rythm and music all night long.

As for "How to find some girlfriend": I found my one at the Arena, sipping a longdrink at the bar; She was Indian, maybe 30 (since I'm 45 that's ok for me), and even though not a real looker, she had a very friendly smile and good curves, and after some dancing I asked her straight away if she would like to stay the night with me at the Sofitel. She stayed until the morning, and I had one of the best experiences of my life! GFS and Kamasutra

Since then, I saw her on each of my business visits; I just need to call her, we have some nice dinner and then a romantic night with sex from evening till the morning (ok, and some sleep in between)

Thus: If you're nice to the girls, you'll have some very good memories.

Also, most taxidrivers know some girls; if you go to the taxis at the SPAR market at night and ask, they will arrange everything (I. E get the girl to you and later on drive them home); but it's some sort of "Blind Date" game. One collegue told me, that he once asked his regular taxidriver for help, an he showed up at the evening with four girls in his car to choose from.

But that girls can get very pricey, I've heard ranges from 1000 to 5000 RS per hour! (40RS = 1 Eur, which would 25 to 125 Eur).

My girl is verrry happy with 2000 RS for the whole day/night (ok, she gets a free dinner and surely a better bed than at home too), thus I would recommend 500 to 1000 per hour as a regular rate.

For comparison: the avarage salary for mauritian workers is about 4000 RS/month, a cook earns about 8000, a doctor about 25000 RS (which is 625 Eur or 1000 US$).

The main area for nightlife is definitely the NorthWest area (around Grand Baye) but there's also already some crime, thus beware of strawling alone through dark streets.

Mauritius is above all a touristic destinations. There are about 1.2 million inhabitants and 800,000 tourists per year.

Having fun is quite easy for an average looking tourists. No need to look for prostitutes. You just need to go to disco on friday and saturday night and be relax talk to every one - the atmosphere is usually very cool and people are very open minded - . I have been to Goa as well as Mautritius, very tourist friendly people. P2P is easy in both places provided you know how to play around. Goans are friendly as well as too coservative to come to your room , so are Mauritians. If you read the previous post. You will get to know of some nightclubs for pick ups. Cost wise both these places are same. Expensive or cheap depends on your budget.
