was in maputo for two days. stayed at hotel tivoli. there is a shopping mall close bycalled maputo shopping mall. there is a massage parlour on the third floor. pretty decent place massage costs 700 meticas. rest is upto you and the therapist. opted only for the massage though extras were available. they also do homecalls/hotel visits. the next day asked the reception to arrange for a massage in the room. they called a chinese. the massage was good and extras were available. it is now clear that there are lot of optionsin maputo

Usaually you can approach girls working with you. Mundos is on the corner of Julius Neyere and Eduardo Mondlane.

In fact Mama Teresa is within walking distance of Mundos. The place is a It is in a pretty non-descript building with a sign outside on the wall. Just down the road from ABS bank. You go the same side as Mundos and you will see the ABC Bank and turn left. The first block on your left. Ground Floor.

I have been staying at Monte Carlo 3 to 4 days every couple of months from the time they opened for business in 2002. Happy to report to all fellow mongers that they are extremely GF and I have never lost a single metical or any other items of value from the rooms. Whenever Monte Carlo is full I get sent to Terminus and they too have never let me down!

Do not go to Mozaica as it is not GF, Monte Carlo is GF.
I stayed there once, no problem, but now I rather stay at Terminus, same company, but more central it has a bar where the locals and "local beauties" tend to go , and it is more central.
Concerning MP, the best, to my knowladge, is Mama Theres, the best girls and you can negotiate with them a visit to your hotel after hours....The Chinese I tryed once and were too mechanical....maybe not lucky.

I'll have a weekend to 'kill' in Maputo later this month. It will be my first time in Mozambique so any suggestions what to do will be most approciated. For example, any nice 1/2-1 day trips up along the coast or to one of the islands along the coast?

Is there anyone who has tried to stay at either Mozaika Guest House or Monte Carlo in Maputo? According to trip advisor there has been incidents of money disappearing from the rooms when staying at Monte Carlo.

Are there any alternative MPs to Mama Theresa Massage Center in Maputo?
