Splashing, as you are a newcomer, I would like to throw in my 5 cents worth. I'm located in Beira now, but I was in Maputo for sometime before. I don't know what end of the market you're operating on, but for picking up "roadkill" and then still going to a guards house. YOU ARE LOOKING FOR TROUBLE! What did you expect at the guard house, a *5 star penthouse suite, of course it's going to be appalling. As for the girls there, Please be advized, you're taking unacceptable risks by picking off the street. If you're going to take on those risks expect some problems at some stage (sooner than later). The girls in that area are trouble, why do you think they're lurking in the shadows around Julius Nyrere and the small side streets. Thanks for the advice. Clues for an upper market would be welcome, as I asked before more private environments would be wiser and appreciated. Mundos is on the corner of Julius Neyere and Eduardo Mondlane.
