I was in Zambia recently. While I was there, I talked with a former French national who was planning to build a resort somewhere along the Mozambique coast. His descriptions of country really made it sound like it's becomming a great place to be. Thertefore, I've been keeping a close eye on this section to see what kind of info is being posted.

Everything sounds pretty good so far. There is one thing that's conspicuously absent though. Nobody has ever posted so much as a single pic!

Come on guys. Surely one of you has taken a camera with him to this fine country lately. Somebody must have a few pics they can contribute. Even if they are street scenes, bar shots or just some girls on the beach. I think I'm not the only one who would be interested in seeing them.

So, who's gonna be in here first with some pics?

It all depends on what you want. If you're after straight up mongering, then Mozambique is far superior because there are women everywhere and most of them are available. It's tough to beat the girls in Maputo in my opinion, both in terms of sheer numbers and variety.

In terms of beauty, it depends on your standards. I think the girls from both countries are equally beautiful, and I should add that I know Mozambique far better than I do Madagascar.

The line between pros, semi-pros and others in Maputo is pretty thin. I picked up many, many, women by just pulling over in my car and inviting them for a ride. Almost all accepted, and of those who did, I don't think I failed to score with any of them. The money involved was negligible, and I never discussed it beforehand with them.

Maputo girls are lovely, and they come in every shape, size, skin tone and facial characteristic imagineable. Remember, the Portuguese were there for a long time, and they were very active. Hence, there are lots and lots of white/black mixtures, some Chinese/African, and some pure African. The nicest thing about Maputo is that girls are everywhere; walking on the street, topless on the beach, sitting in restaurants, and most are readily available.

Go and have a great time.

If you go to Madagascar, which is interesting but unexciting, you would be far better off bringing a girl from the mainland with you.

Wrote a long report some days ago, but something must have gone wrong because it is not published yet. Good Enough : I guess this place still exists. I think it is called Zo Zo or something like that. Was there to early to check it out though.

Went to Catembe with my girl and had a nice night and morning with her. Although I am starting to find it harder and harder not being able to communicate. At eleven was at the bus `station` and got really fed up with things, because at 3 30 pm the bus still had not left and the language problem added a bit more fuel to the fire, so I decided to get back to Maputo and go back to South Africa, where I am now waiting for a plane to Kenia, Uganda or Madagascar. Still have not made my mind up yet.

All in all, I guess I should not give up over the language issue so quickly, but being a very spoiled monger I know what is waiting for me in other countries.

In Ferro, most of the places are open air places, but we did find the place you are talking about, I think, but got there too early.

Checked Mambo at eleven, but there was not one person there.

Had dinner with the receptionist. It was nice to have a conversation in english. She is very pretty, light skin,which is a bit rare here. But I do not really care about skin color.Furthermore, this one knows she is pretty.Could have fucked her ,but just can not handle women with attitudes. Went to the same place next to Luzo .Very quiet on a Saturday night. I guess all the girls go to regular places then. Was high on khat again and decided not to have anybody. It did not turn out like that. Had a nice 19 year old yesterday, she was not there, but her friend was and she wanted to try me too. Could not resist again and it turn out to be a very nice girl. Taking her to Catembe this afternoon.

Obviously the receptionist found out about it and had a bit of a go at me, they do have this Latino characteristic these women. Something very different to the "pure" Africans. Enjoyed the moment though, thinking she is some kind of a movie star.

Am bying khat again today. For me, it suits me a lot better than alcohol. It just a pity that the women do not know it here and seem a bit worried about it. Am thinking of hitting Djibouti and Eritrea later this year. Looking forward too horny women on khat there.

Bought some stuff for the laundry girl. She is making 50 dollar a month. Eases my conscience a bit. She says she wants to do something with me, so she can remember me. Do not know if I will have time for that. Life can be very hard sometimes.

You're making me homesick for Maputo. I used to hang out sometimes at the Ferro, and there used to be a disco inside the place in the far left-hand corner of the square. Is that still there? I met several women at that place, and stayed with one of them for about 2 weeks.

Good luck in Malawi. I never much liked the place, though I did have to go to Lilongwe several times. Never took any women there because aids was ripping like a firestorm through the country. I was just too scared, but I hear the lake region is beautiful.

Most have done something wrong in my last message, but could not type further anymore. I guess women are more my thing.

Will probably go to Nampula , but it is going to be a long way. I think I will cross from there into Malawi. But Something unexpected can always happen tomorrow. Do not like to plan too much really.

All in all I would say that so far Mozambique is something different again compared to my other travels . Maputo is good for a few days, but for a capital it is quiet and the language is a bit of a problem. Will try to report again if something worthwile happens.

Thank you for the information. Went to Ferro Popular yesterday, but at 10 pm it was too early. Did meet a girl that works for a dance group, but could not make my mind up again. Went to a place next door to Luzo . There is a disco there and they have rooms as well. Took one girl from there to my hotel ,but did not take enough time to suss her out and was really disappointed. After all these years I should know better, but she looked so hot....Went back to the disco and really took my time now . Danced with about ten girls and ended up with a nice one this time, but got home too late for more than one session.Oh I guess I should not really complain. The meeting with the laundry lady was too complicated, she wanted me to go and see her parents first and I am not really in too that. Did manage to locate the khat so have chewed quite a bit today, so I will have to go out again tonight. But where and with whom. I really have a lot of problems again today.

The guy in the hotel has family in Nampula in the North ,but it is about three days by bus. Could take a plane, but would like to see the scenery and could try to chat up girls on the bus. Since buses do not drive here at night, I could find a room and offer them a bed. Can not do this trip on my own, as i speak hardly any Portuguese . The guy is really enthusiastic about it and will do everything he can to help me, since I am his "good friend".

If you get tired of the scene in Maputo, try to get to Beira for a couple of days. If you get tired of Beira, try to rent a car and drive to the Happy Valley Hotel in Swaziland. It will take you a day, but you will have a fantastic time once you get there, and you will see some gorgeous scenery.
