There are many small ads from private girls working from their apartments. They cost a little more, R300-400 for an ‘hour’ and almost all are in the suburbs.

Several escort agencies also offer in-house services, there are three alone on West street. Basic Instinct, at no. 127, charges R250/hr.

The street scene is probably to be avoided. It is cheap and takes place along Point Road in the harbour area. I never went as too many people including taxi-drivers, warned me of the possible consequences.
