Wasn't really planning to monger much in south Africa but after 1 day here I've changed my mind, the girls look good out here, thick mixed race girls everywhere.

You had the right idea in mind with Mandela square. However, I find that a lot of semi-pros can be found at the Sandton clubs, bars and lounges at night. Usually they aren't to hard to spot. I haven't done CT or Durban, but I imagine its the same set-up. Go to clubs / lounges and scope for the chicks with wandering eyes and the girls that are eager to "party".

One place I have heard about in CT is this place called "Cubana". It's like a restaurant / lounge type place. Best thing to do would simply be to talk to different chicks and get a vibe as to who's down for what. The girls that'll put out will make it quite obvious.

For dating apps, Badoo and Tinder should do you well. I wish I had more insight on the bars and clubs outside of Cubana in CT. I will say this, most clubs tend to be located all together so I'd imagine the main party spots should be your ground zero.

And yes, SA has a lot of thick women around. Probably my favorite place on the continent.

Spot on about Uber. It's cheap but adds up quickly because you have to use it to go everywhere. For my next trip down there I'm torn as to whether I'll rent a car or drive.

I've seen them at the Intercontinental Sandton, where there are more areas to congregate. The bars at Michaelangelo and over in Rosebank at the Hyatt were a little less obvious. I couldn't say I was sure, but one of the doormen at Sandton pointed out a regular to me 2 years back and also offered to "help me find" the right girl. Another doorman told me to just look in the back pages of the newspaper where there are pages of ads (or used to be). I never had luck turning stippers into "outcall" ladies at the strip clubs. They wanted way too much money to moonlight after their shifts.

PS Uber was much better than taxis for fares and pretty darn cheap.

When I was there I noticed some semi-pros at the Sandton City center as well. Very lowkey though, but to the trained eye, you could spot them out. Another reason I like SA.
