I've seen them at the Intercontinental Sandton, where there are more areas to congregate. The bars at Michaelangelo and over in Rosebank at the Hyatt were a little less obvious. I couldn't say I was sure, but one of the doormen at Sandton pointed out a regular to me 2 years back and also offered to "help me find" the right girl. Another doorman told me to just look in the back pages of the newspaper where there are pages of ads (or used to be). I never had luck turning stippers into "outcall" ladies at the strip clubs. They wanted way too much money to moonlight after their shifts.

PS Uber was much better than taxis for fares and pretty darn cheap.

When I was there I noticed some semi-pros at the Sandton City center as well. Very lowkey though, but to the trained eye, you could spot them out. Another reason I like SA. On surface it doesn't seem like a proper P4P destination as a Kampala or Nairobi would be. But once you get there, you realize there are a lot of options hidden in plain sight.

A good rule of thumb in Africa is follow the money and follow the "enjoyment" trail. Essentially, find the spots that men go to spend money and enjoy themselves e. G. Bars, clubs, casinos and lounges. Find those places and you'll find women that are looking for a cut of that money as well.

What websites you suggest to use? Many airbnbs does not include air conditioner. For October-November trip, will that be uncomfortable or OK weather wise?

What websites? Like websites for accommodations? Not sure, I used an Airbnb and it didn't have an AC. It did have a fan and I went during the start of their winter so I was fine. I would look into vacation rentals or serviced apartments. They tend to have more amenities.
