I got some good advice from someone on the forum. It was a business mainly trip so didn't have time to fish for civilians. That said girls are friendly to foreigners not all the local guys like this but girls are very upfront about your chances for play. However I would advise condoms if you don't have all the necessary tests sorted. It is possible to get the tests sorted at a local clinic but condoms are cheaper. The best part is civilians are more open generally than they are with locals. But make sure your third eye is watching where all your stuff is and careful about accepting any drinks around them.

Overall SA has enough for someone until Addis and Mombasa open back up. Mombasa again you have civilian options if you fish around. Addis there are some but most are desperate to get out of Ethiopia but that is the case across the continent.

Zakmo, I just talked with a female friend in Joburg. She stated there will be no tourist until 2021. I can't see it but if it's true. I will be dissapointed.

It will be disappointing but December 2020 vs Feb / Mar 2021 won't be too much of a wait. I've actually read elsewhere that the government is looking to fast track it's international travel plans.

If covid is quiet over summer things could change quickly.

So, finally registered after reading quite a lot on this forum.

I will be going to SA (cape town) soon and contacted a few girls from redvelvet or locanto. Rates between 400 and 1500 for an hour are quite common. But what surprised me most, is that 80% of all girls asked me to "book in advance" and pay up front (via online payment / sms payment / paypal whatever).

Tried arguing a few times but most of them do not accept cash on arrival. Only very, very few do!

Of course my initial reaction is that this is a scam. Or is it typical for SA?

My comment was not to skip Joburg just to be more careful in some of the areas, and skip some entirely esp if you are driving a rental car and not sure where you are going. I've worked in Joburg for extended periods and hobbied both there and CT.

First time to read of this. Common sense not to pay in this manner. When you arrive in SA it is very easy to find girls and you will find cheaper and be prepared to negotiate don't just grab and sucumb to the first girls you come across, be patient, find what pleases you.

If a person can't apply common sense and have street smarts, maybe it's not for them. That would apply to any place in the world.

Thanks, Tintin, I've read a bit more on Joburg, and I may stick to mongering in Cape Town while I'm in South Africa. Unless there are places in Midrand where my hotel is located, it's probably not safe enough for me to risk venturing out.

I'll be in South Africa in a few months, and I have extensively read this forum to come up with a plan. As I stated earlier, I'm avoiding full house service and going on a quest to get my covered dick sucked by the finest multi-ethnic women I can find.

I'm coming from the United States of America so I'll need to exchange dollars for the local currency. I plan to half about half of what I need in cash and the other half I'll withdraw from FNB Bank ATMS (which I understand to not charge fees).

I'll be there in April so I assume the weather will be warm. I plan to dress in jeans while I'm there to not draw undo attention to myself.
