Some more before the event started. I felt somehow uncomfortable when taking them. But no problem at all to take photos at the real ceremony. They will be shown later.

To keep you updated. Why Not Disco is/was closed due to reconstruction. And I got hundreds of pics of topless and even nude swazi umhlanga girls. So no need to worry too much

Posts: 54Forget getting into the reed dance. Its by invitaion only now, and they are enforcing the maidens to be clothed. Ie no nipples will be shown, only the Bwana will be able to view that stuff. Its a womans rights group that has pressed to have the girls dressed up, I personally thing they are jealous not to have hot bods anymore.
Ps if you don't gett shagged at the Why-not club then there is no hope for you.

Hi,
Can anybody tell me when the Umhlanga / Reed Dance in Swaziland is celebrated in 2008 and what day is best to take pictures of the "virgins" ?
Should be around end of August?
Thanks,
AF

For whatever reason was reading reports from here and saw one on the Why not bar. Yes it certainly is an institution.
I now live in Malaysia but about 20 years ago I used to live in Durban., Would motor up to Mbane and generally get wasted in a few bars.. then go find a gal from the Why Not bar. It was rough but fun. Even took a white hottie I know once and we picked a young lady for an evening of fun.. thankfully almost no HIV then.
Strange to see a name from the past.

I am a fairly regular visitor to the Royal Swazi Hotel and Casino from Mozambique (only 2 and a half hours from Maputo) and have begun to notice a more steady stream of working ladies beginning to frequent the casino over the past year or so.
They tend to arrive at about 9pm on Friday and Saturday nights, and after an amble about the casino floor - no doubt checking out the single guys who are winning - they proceed to the bar for some liquid refreshment.
After they have managed to convince the casino staff and managers that they are not working ladies they then walk around and start to play the odd machine while trying to make eye contact with prospective clients.
I have been lucky enough to be on the receiving end of this eye contact by 2 beauties (countless other average ones too) - at least 8's in most peoples book. But unfortunately being with the old wife I was unable to make any move.
Noticed quite a few guys making very secret arrangements to meet outside and then within 10 minutes they were off for a night of fun.
So while I didn't (couldn't) hook up (as much as I would have liked to) this is just to tell everyone out there that their is action available in Swaziland - and that some of the girls on offer are not too bad!!
I will have to make a trip on my own soon to taste some of the local woman.
Also the Why Not bar is quite an institution in Swaziland and woman are freely available their.
Happy mongering and remember that HIV in Swaziland is rife.
