Are you talking about the apartment buildings in Juffair with pimps that flag you down nearby? I had a look at one last time I was in Bahrain when I was boresd taking morning g a walk, the one j went to was run by Pakistanis and the guy behind the counter had the worst breath I ever experienced. That was enough enough put me off alone. About 4 girls were in the reception area on the sofas on their phones looking miserable. Mix between thai, Pakistani and Ethiopians and very rough. I was promised that more would be available after lunch. I guarantee the rooms are disgusting, the girls will be unlikely give you a good experience but you will you will be able get then down to 15 bd from 25. Definitely do not go in with 40 bd in mind unless you happen to find a nice clean spa / hotel then that might be a whole different experience.

30 bd seems to be the going rate for a nice bar girl. If you are choosy then you will be disappointed.

Online MSR and telegram girls can give excellent massage options, but not attractive so they prefer to do online.

I'm done with the Asians. Plan to dip into my pockets and try out the Arab girls who frequent the shisha bars but its not as straight forward as heading to the girlie bars, especially without knowing Arabic.

I found out I will be going to Manama for a week in August, and the hotel I usually stay in is the Residence Inn or other Marriott hotel. Is the Residence Inn in Manama girl friendly? I want to give MR a try but worry that having a girl show up in the lobby for me would draw bad attention to me.

Copy paste of a PM to a member who had provided me hints and tips before my trip to Bahrain.

This is just a summary update on the scene as I experienced for the 4 days I spent in Bahrain. It is quite interesting and different to the Dubai experience, if you are into SE Asians then its probably girl heaven short of going to Thailand, non-Asian options seemed limited.

Stayed at the CP, friendly. Was coming back with a girl after 2 am one night / morning and the lady was asked for her passport, easy enough, wished us a good night and off we went.

Based on my experience; I would rate the options as 1. Clubs 2. MR and 3. Brothotels. I also met up with a Filipina who I had connected with on FilipinoCupid beforehand, never doing that again, super needy and couldn't get rid of her. I am not a rude person generally, but had to block her number as she was insistent on spending the whole time with me.

Apart from a Pakistani girl who came to my room from MR, the rest were all Thais. The Pak was nice enough personality but fat and ugly (especially in the morning when I was seeing clearer and her makeup was off) and ended up being my most expensive punt. Really should have sent her back when I saw her at the door, but it was late and the rest is history and a below average experience.

Club wise the 'Z' club in Pars was way better than Boomers. Boomers had lots of girls but very ropey. Wrangler club is for US Navy, I was there till around 11.30 and left, not that many girls and most of them seemed focused on the Americans which is fair enough, I assume many of them are repeats. Popped my head into Davy Crockets (dead at 11 pm), Pub / Club in Ramee (can't remember the name), no women at all.

No bad bouncer experience at all. No one asking for tips or being an ahole, which is pretty standard in Dubai clubs now.

Found a good independent Thai from MR, picked her up from her flat first night (Vita Suites) and then saw her with friends at 'Z' club the following night and took her again. She was good and also spoke good English.

Went to Pheonicia just because I wanted to experience the hotel thing. Got there about midday, which was a mistake as the girls were still asleep. They had 1 room with Tunisian, 2 Russian rooms, 2 Thai rooms and 1 Chinese. The Tunisian did not answer, 1 of the Russians said the girls were sleeping, the other sounded like I woke her and she gave me a 'fuck off' price of 80 BD for couple hours which I declined. Ended up with a Thai at 30 BD for the hour + 12 BD for the room for 3 hours. I was out of there in 30 minutes, but this was just to see how the setup worked and reference for next time.

Prices I paid ranged from 140 BD overnight to 40 BD for an hour inc cost of hotel room. Based on limited data points MR rates are 50% to 100% markup on what you pay for the same girl from a club.

Street action around Hoora mainly, some around Juffair, in the evenings is pretty obvious, almost all Africans and most of them fat and ugly. Apart from that you see the Bengali looking guys outside the hotels, I assume they were offering girls in rooms but did not approach any of them. None of them approached me either, but were happy to make eye contact. Probably cautious because of the way I looked / dressed.

For 'research' purposes also visited some of the supermarkets around Hoora / Juffair, that was wasted time spent checking out the vegetables, will put that down as an urban legend although I do know the prices of various varieties of mango better than I did a week ago!

Plenty in hoora, go to any hotels there ask the reception that you wish to see the room before you take one. Ask the bell boy who escorts you to se the room the nationality of the women in the hotel.
