back on the 8th of march i had the pleasure of staying for the evening at the phoenicia. here’s how it went:

having heard of the phoenicia through these boards and having read up on the procedure, i had a pretty good idea of what i would be looking for and how things would work. everything was pretty much right on par with the other accounts written.

If you took the time to look just a few posts lower down you would see Mr Happy Feet's post on the Phoenicia, or his previous post. This would clue you up to Russians in the hotel. The posting was just last week, so I wouldn't think that things have changed. The clamp down seemed to have been on Thai girls. They are gradually beginning to come back with two year visas. Expect a rise next month due to the Formula One. This seems to have been a temporary blip. I'm certain that the people behind all this will find ways of getting round the system, or will start 'recruiting' from other areas, PRC or Africa, probably.

Was in Bahrain for a few days and tried to find some acompany.

So i went to F1 (in the Metropolitan hotel near Exhibition roard where you find Pizza Hut, MC Donalds, Burger Kind and so on) on a Thirsday evening and was shocked by the absence of Thai ladies which was not well compensated by too many males and very few chinese ladies.

Do not ask me why, but I have my difficulties with chinese cats.

So I checked the scene, the band was not too bad, but also not good. So I headed to Garfields which is behind the gulf hotel in the direction of Juffair. The situation was very much the same, just that the "band" played hip.hop. No nice girls except one, but she was already booked.

On my final evening, I couldn’t help but hit the Phonecia one more time for the road. I finished my work by Mid-Day and after visiting with friends, I checked into the Phonecia. On the low end, you have the 15BD Lensman Thai pop, followed by the 10 plus 10 massage and HJ, then there is the take-out order from TC, F-1(and several others) that only run 50Bd for all night, and finally the simple hotel action serving a variety of CIS or Arabic seven days a week.

So, since an out-of-town guy like me is finding action and POSTING, why is your Forum so quiet????
