What's changed beside the name? Do they still have a live band? Is there now a cover charge? Did they get rid of "bullfrogs" ? Is that little restaurant next to it gone? I can't imagine them making too many physical changes to the interior when it's not closed for Ramadan.

You could try the bar at the Crowne Plaza, very close to the Rad Blu. There were WGs there last time I was there, and live band too.

Yes, the Crowne Plaza can be very good, I have had a lot of success there at different times.

The bar is good and the bands often very good and you get a nicer sort of people in there often.

Importantly to get to some of the rooms from the bar is not difficult or embarrassing because they are on the ground floor.
