Phoencia used to be a favored place of mine but havent been there in a couple of years. Unless they've renovated the place, the rooms can be hit and miss. Most rooms are OK but on occasion (esp when the place is full), you may get a terrible room. IMO the main thing the Phoencia has going for it is the nice selection of girls, usually the best in Bahrain. But friends who have been there recently say they are not in the same sort of numbers as before (used to be 30-40 girls at any one time). Still, at 40bd for ST I would rather go elsewhere, esp if the rooms have also gone up to 50bd as well. If your budget is OK with it, then yes, definitely the place to stay.

After the disappointment of not finding a room there last time, I left for Bahrain extra early on Wednesday to make sure I'd find a room this time. Phonecia is the one of the cleanest hotel with CIS and Arabs. My advice is that you go to the Family Plaza. After entering that dump you will run back to Phonecia and pay double what they ask. I guess you are also gonna ask that the babes be good looking too.

Seems raids are still being conducted on some hotels/apts. Last night I was at one place (will not name) near Exhibition road with a mix of girls of various nationalities and enjoyed a nice girl at around 9pm. After a few beers I fell asleep and woke up at 1am and called a few girls rooms for more action but there was no answer. I called all the girls rooms and no answer. So I called the receptionist to see what was happening and he said all the girls were off the premises, that there were raids going on in the area and for the protection of the girls (and the place) they've been moved out temporarily but will be back in a few hours. Over the past week, I checked a few places (all Exhibition Rd area) to see what was still happening and what girls were available, heres what I come up with:

Samada Hotel/apts - beautiful suites (35bd suite), you will be met at the hotel entrance by a couple of stunners (Thai I presume) elegantly dressed in tight business suits who will direct you to the reception desk. I asked to see a room and along the way the bell boy told me there were several Syrian, Morroccan girls there (only guessing they would be about 30bd ST).

Dorchester Plaza apts (next to Samada) - 7 or 8 thai girls there along with a few Syrian, morroccans. 18bd/room. The place is a bit of a dump and the girls not so hot, except for one very pretty Thai (name Leeda) who was dressd in a slinky black mini-dress, 20bd ST, 30bd 1hr. Great attitude, kissing, BJ and oh, this one is a 3-holer, but an extra 10bd for the 3rd hole . So I went to Bahrain last Wednesday with great hopes to find a room in Phoenicia and bang Sameera.
