I will be in Bahrain for an afternoon next week and am just wondering where the best bars are to head to for afternoon action?

I did a search in this thread for "daytime" and "afternoon" and it didn't bring up much.

I also did a search for "Diggers" and that only returned 1 result so I think there may be a problem with the search function.

Is Diggers still an afternoon place?

I got back to Bahrain at the weekend for the first time in a long time with the same dilema. 'Afternoon action?' Made a few enquiries and found myself in the ground floor bar at Pars in Juffair at about 4 PM.

Yes my bad I meant juffair gate. The drink prices by far the cheapest in juffair, a bucket of 6 beers is 15 bd.

I think you are mistaken bulls with champs. Champs is the late night bar inside the hotel and bulls is the old busters outside the hotel right next to the entrance.

LOL, OK, my bad now. I don't remember the name. I just remember it's in and upstairs and can get something to eat late at night and wash it down with a beer, after flying in.

Do you mean Juffair Gate Hotel? The only Gulf gate hotel I find is no where near Juffair. I think I went to Liv a few years back, it was OK. I don't remember the drink being noticeably cheaper than anywhere else.

Wrangler is dead busters killed it. Used to be popular with african freelancers not sure now I haven't been there for years. Bulls is the old busters, they changed the interior now it has more lights and it looks like a legit sports bar. There are still few girls in bulls but older and not very attractive. I don't know how much you paid but if you paid her asking price on the website you over paid by a lot. On her last photo you can see she is clearly in level 5, if you went there and negotiated directly with her you could have had her for 20 bd an hour or 50 bd all night. Do your research on currant prices and avoid using websites or you will get ripped off.

I've been visiting Bahrain for many years now. I really don't like visiting the cattle markets that are the bars where you find ladies.
