In the last 10 months, I have myself tried Phoenicia Hotel, Phoenicia Tower, Phoenicia Plaza, Kim Suites-1, Sydney Tower (before it closed briefly; now I believe it has reopened) , Gulf Star and Kingdom Palace (formerly FP). The experience was no different than what has already been reported here many times. I also had the first-hand narrations from close friends who stayed at other places (Samada, Al Jaberiya, Marin Tower Plaza, Windsor Tower etc.). I also personally checked the rooms in Baisan Suites Hotel (now Olaya Suites Best Western) which was of the best quality in Hoora area, but they were charging BD 45 on the weekdays. In my future visits, I intend to try this hotel as I really liked the quality of rooms.

I benefited a lot from the intelligence shared by TSMN. Without going into much details, I would like to give a brief overview of the recent mongering scene in Hoora following my recent visits. I have not explored Juffair so far, so I will not be able to provide any info about the action there.

Virtually, every furnished apartment block in Hoora area is a brothel. They only vary in price, quality and quantity. Any typical furnished apartment will have an assortment of Russian, CIS, Chechnian, Thai, Chinese and Indonesian girls for FS. All of them will also have Ethiopian ladies for the massage service. All these girls reside in the building and then either move to another furnished apartment block after staying for a few weeks or leave the country for the visa run.

Most of the furnished apartment will also have some Arab girls. They could be Moroccan, Syrian, Egyptian or Lebanese etc. Normally, these Arab girls are relatively fewer compared to Russian / Thai / Chinese / Indonesian girls. The Arab girls normally do not reside in the building. They generally come and go as per their own convenience or upon demands (e. G. On the weekends). The typical cost for a room (actually 1 BR apartment) in a rather rundown building is BD 20-25 per day on the normal weekdays and goes higher over the weekends (BD 40 and higher depending on the demand and supply). All these rooms are fairly basic to kind of dungeon and the hygiene standards are very poor. The cleaning staff does not regularly clean the room and change bedsheets. The ladies in such rundown buildings are generally average to low quality. The Russian / CIS / Arab ladies in such buildings would charge around BD 30 for ST (30 min) and BD 50 for one hour. Went to checkout the SeaShell hotel in Adliyah. Fairly easy to find since it's on the same road as Al-Andalus hotel whose neon sign can be seen miles off. Parking was a hassle as I circled the neighbourhood till I caught someone leaving the many Asian restaurants in the area. A short walk and I'm at the receptionist. Ask him about the rates and quotes 30BD. Told him it's a Sunday, and he drops to 25BD. Then for whatever reason the Bellboy starts talking to him in their native tongue and it's down to 20BD! I ask to be shown the room and off I go with the bellboy to the elevator. He said you can check in anytime so long as you checkout at 12. I promptly ask him about the availability of girls. He prefers to use the term "Ladies", he said PRC and Thai's are available. I ask why no RU / CIS, he said it's all down to luck. I asked about prices he said the PRC charge 40BD, while the Thai 50BD.

The maximum rate for PRC or Thai in Bahrain should be 35 BD. 30 BD standard I'd say and you can even get for 25 so I think you probably overpaid. If you like PRC / Thai's, check out Gulf Pearl Hotel next to Mashtan. They had some nice PRC's last time I checked.

Nice! What are their rates like?

I decided to check out Mashtan after a gap of about a year to see if there's anything good. Well, pretty much a let down and not like the Mashtan of old. This hotel has clubs on like each floor and you'll see hot girls in them, but the thing is they are usually brought in from outside and don't reside in the hotel. The rooms are very basic and the beds are shit. Checked in and got the room numbers. They had like 4 rooms for PRC. 1 Thai and like 8 for Russians. So me and my friend decided to head out a day earlier. Turns out the trip was doomed from the onset! A mile long traffic jam due to two accidents, then a police checkpoint right in front the pick up point of my friend who had a flat tire! No wait! It gets better, on the way he explains to me his hygienic standards of hotel rooms and that how he has to be early in bed for work. Dude seriously? Screwed up night!

We went first searching for Al-Andalus. Turns out you can see it's green neon sign pretty far off as the building is quite high. Made it to Al-Andalus and damned if you could find a place to park! If it wasn't that it was the long ass queue at the adjacent traffic light with no shoulder on the road to drive up to the hotel. Anyhow. 2nd floor to the massage parlor and inquired for two rooms. Receptionist said they were full, come back in an hour. *argh* That was at 8:00 pm. Booked for 9pm and she told us to call at 8:40 to confirm.

Drove out the hotel and turned immediately right to where I "think" Sea Shell Hotel was situated. Sure enough it was there. It was two plain buildings, one old and the other new connected together. The place was quiet, early I guess. Continued on to Al-Salam Palace and here were things get weird. You take a right at Jesmi's and then a left. The whole back lot suddenly was a construction area with large parts of it walled off. I took two rounds looking for it and the other easier to spot California / Florida hotel but couldn't damn find them. This night is turning out nice indeed!

Decided to drive around Hoora scouting out all the areas mentioned in the forum. Sure enough they were all there, but couldn't find that "Nawras" hotel mentioned to be a bit further back to Windsor hotel near the Museum. Then drove down to see this "Concord" hotel and bloody hell was the traffic not moving! Roads look so wide on the map! By then it was close to 8:40. Andalus MP is a very well maintained and aesthetically appealing MP in a dump of a hotel. There the masseuses are way more professional but you will definately not get a happy ending.

Here's how to get there. If you know the fast food restaurant "Jismi's", keep its front door on your right and walk forward, take the first road right, then the first road left. The hotel entrance should be on your left. It's I believe the second building. Right in front of it is a fancy looking hotel entrance with bouncers called either "California" or "Florida", not sure. Behind it is a "Monroe" hotel. Al-Salam Palace looks run down and old compared to it's neighbours, and the tight nature of the roads there makes its sign easily miss-able when driving there. Also. A shit ton of Indian dudes flag you down every 15 meters there! Going to stop at one of them and see what's the deal.

Anyhow, teamed up with a friend and planning to hopefully make an excursion Monday night. That way we can double "exploration" in the limited time we have. Will post a report about it. Planning to return to Al-Salam, then surveying the area around SeaShell, then down to Andalus, and around Gulf Gate. Hopefully some good catches are ahead of us.

The Salam MP is a nice hit and miss. I've tried 6 gals there. I believe there are a total of 8-9.

Out of the 6, 4 were pretty / cute. 4 gave a good massage. 1 gave an average one and last one was plain terrible. 5 gave HJs. 1 didn't even offer. 2 of the 5 allowed fondling of the goodies. The rooms of course suck but since this isn't Thailand / China, thats the best for there (Bahrain)
