I have been there (recently) and there is good news and bad news about it.

Good News:- It is very open and welcoming ('Green') and no problem for ladies (me) being there and going to rooms with guests. No problem at all. I think they don't have a problem with ladies there because they don't see many (or any) ladies there.

Bad news:- It is a very very long wayaway and very difficult and expensive to get there in a taxi. So, ladies will not go there hoping to find a guy because it is a big expensive risk if they don't find one. They will only go there if they have arranged a booking with a guy who they trust will not run away and really the ladies would not want to go all that way and spend a lot of time traveling to be with a guest for a quick hour. Usually the ladies I know would want to go for a few hours or 'All night until breakfast.'

It is not so bad for me because I drive in my own small car but most ladies don't have a car.

So Klawhileonard, when you arrive for stay at the Sofitel I think you will not have good chance to find ladies there, it would better for you to go to Jufffair or Manama to find a lady and make a deal with her that you will take her in your taxi to the Sofitel and send her home again later or the next morning. Or before you come to Bahrain you could make an arrangement with one of the ladies from the internet if you can find one who will believe you and who you will trust to arrive.

Or, stay at a different hotel, there are lots of nice ones where it will be much easier.

Yes the causeway is open you need a pcr test from ksa before you exit, the one from sehaty app is accepted, there are few Thai and Africans girls in and around hoora very limited.

When I am shopping usually I am wearing just old jeans and flip flop shoes and no makeup and hair on top looking like ugly old lady, but when I am hunting I wear different clothes, not like clothes for a bar, but maybe a dress as long as my knees, shoes with heels but only small heels and a little makeup but not too much.

The best ones for me are Al Ozra at Juffair and Lulu Hypermarket. The big ones in the malls, like Carrefour, are not so good because they are usually families doing shopping.

When I am hunting I know I need be careful so I wait until I see a man and watch him for little time to be sure there is not a wife or girlfriend..

I have also met nice guys in supermarkets and malls 3 times. And no problem with security. I think it depend how the lady looks if she will have security problem or no.

The first time I was going home from work and still with my hotel uniform (but I had take off my name badge) and went for food shopping and I found New Zealand man who was looking very interested at me. Everything happened very well and was good, very good.

I understand that security is not a problem if I look OK not like a working girls, so 2 more times on my days off I have done again to the Lulu wearing my uniform and had success.

I think it is important the lady looks OK and not too sexy and she should have a basket or trolley with things in it because security are watch hidingly 100% from the video camera.
