Wow my contributions were such a long time ago but I’m happy they have contributed in some way to others on this forum. I truly enjoyed reporting back then as I'm sure I will here as well. Since my mongering retirement in 2003 (more like semi-retirement) and so far almost 6 wonderful years with my Filipina wife I'll be moving to Bahrain and will be there until my "work" retirement. The asawa will be going back and forth between Bahrain and the Philippines to manage the numerous businesses she owns back in Manila and Northern Mindanao. That leaves me with 3 months to be wicked followed by 3 months of being a good husband. It's been a couple years since I mongered in Bahrain but I still reminiscent about those glorious days...

I was working in Dammam and travelled to Bahrain to normalize my life during weekend, but that was history.

I do have a few colleagues who live in Bahrain and travel daily to KSA for work. You need to get a multiple exit re-entry visa, car with valid paper and insurance, and most importantly a King Fahd Causeway border booklet (unless you want your passport to run out of pages very fast.); then you should be all set to travel.

If I am living in KSA fair play, I would have to pay for a room anyway, but, if I have an apartment in Bahrain, would this not be an unnecessary expense? Of course I have read about Diggers, were you can pick girls up at the bar and take them home, but, cannot the same be done at the bars and discos of the hotels?

While Diggers is probably the best known of the pickup places, it is by no means the only one. Wrangler, Rock Bottom and the sports bar in the same hotel as Dublin pub in Juffair; F1, Enigma and sometimes Warlber on the other side of the road are others. I'm sure you've rtff so you would already know this. If you have your own apartment, then you just take the lass home with you, unless you have a wife or girlfriend waiting for you! But then you wouldn't be mongering . . .

There are many people who live in Bahrain and work in Saudi, commuting across the causeway every day. I don't know the ins and outs since i work in Bahrain, but I know of many who do. That has the advantage of the Saudi money and the Bahrain lifestyle and should definitely be the contract to go for. Not the work in Saudi, live in Saudi, unless they are offering you shit loads of money and a contract where you can get out of the country on a regular basis, in which case you book your flight to Bangkok or the Phillipines.

Had a nice bonk last night. Phoned a regular provider in an apartment off Exhibition Av. From what I have read you have to have a room at most hotels to have some fun. Correct me me if I am wrong but the procedure is - you go to a recommended hotel, book a room, and then call up the relevant room, i.e. Russian, Thai etc.

Marad, thing is I don't have a subscription and even though explained that it was safe to use CCards, my CCard is via my firm and the other one, the gf uses it. Both will ask me about my interest in charities!

Anyway, I don't mind sharing the numbers, you've provided so much good information over the years! Its just the question of how to share!

Anyway last Saturday, decided to check out the scene around here at 3-4 pm.

Fact Number 1

Most places were in a state of hibernation. There was no activity. ONe thing was clear though, the MPs at Andulas, Al Jazira & Mashtaan were operating but only after 7PM.

Fact Number 2 (For ExpatCat)

Yes, SShell was in action for sure. Went there after 9. 30 and the place was slightly less packed than usual but at least 7-8 WGs. Most were the PRCs with too much cleavage and very less face value.

Fact Number 3

Out of my 3 Thai Contacts, my favourite Nancy (the Cowgirl Specialist), well her number was offline, I was later to find out that she might have changed her number. Contact Number 2, Sonia, a rather pretty BBBJ specialist but one with some tummy stretchmarks, was out of town. Third contact, who I had not tried until now, Ann, was available. Business is down for the WGs, they are trying to charge more than the 20 BD rate at SShells because they're desperate. From my calculations, however, even 20BD (ST) x 3 Clients x 4 nights (I'm taking minimums) = 240 BD which easily covers their rat hole rooms in Hoora within a week so don't PUSH UP the prices guys! And Thai gals don't even lead a 'Prime Steak Cuisine with Fine Wine' lifestyle.

Fled from Bahrain last night. It's just dead. If you got contacts to some resident WGs you can call upon it is ok. If you do have the choice to plan your trip with a stopover in either Dubai or Bahrain definitely go via Dubai (see my latest Dubai report why.

Diggers and all other clubs are closed. Phoenicia Hotel and Tower are closed for refurbishment (much needed anyway) I guess. I drove by and nothing was lit but some construction workers were milling about, thus, didn't even bother to get out of the car to check.

I stayed in the Delmond Hotel. At least their air conditioning was switched on. Business is so low that some hotels don't have air con on at all such as Mashtan or Bahrain International, i.e. if you check in you spend the first few hours in a stuffy and hot room until the air con is up and running. BTW, the 'arcade of sin' at the ground floor of the Bahrain International is of course also closed.

Considering the above I didn't bother wasting time driving around Bahrain's annoying one-way streets to check out other places such as Best Western and so on in Juffair but just got the hell out of there. Some coffee shops are open, you can have shisha and soft drinks and try your luck with the waitresses but that's usually a long shot. In fact from what I've been told by them they can be thrown out of the country if caught with somebody in a hotel because their visa apparently doesn't allow that line of work. (Such visas are available of course but much more expensive to obtain.)

However, testing the waters I asked the hotel boy who showed me the room in Delmond for ladies and he said he could call a Thai. So, that seems to be still there but I didn't follow through as I prefer seeing first what might end up in my bed before making the approach. Delmond and also Mashtan have their gym/sauna/massage in operation after 8pm. Bearing in mind previous FRs there's sometimes more than a massage on the table depending on your luck but that's just me thinking aloud what could be possible without trying. I just wasn't motivated enough to keep looking for nothing during dry season in Bahrain. I'd rather go to Dubai instead.

OK, my apologies, I'm a little late in posting this but work has been keeping me busy. I know Ramadan has started so the party night life has dried up.

Anyway, I met Nit one night, in late June, at Rock Bottom. She's an older Thai lady, but as with most asian women, she looks younger than she is. Nevertheless, she looked good and loved to dance at the table, sliding up and down me and occasionally grinding to keep my attention. We would have a good time at Rock Bottom and eventually we would adjourn to my place nearby.

Being an older women, she understands service. Just a quick thought. Since the SeaShell doesn't serve booze anyway and the 'bar' is effectively the coffee shop. Is it still open for business as usual during ramadan? If I don't get a reply, I'll try to check it out either during the week, or probably at the weekend.

I decided to hit Diggers at 5 in the evening to check out the season. I was surprised to see the place was full, maybe it was the Chelsea/Man U match?

Anyway, there seemed to be lots of punters and an equal number of mostly PRCs.

PRC 1 approached me, 6.5 in looks, was very business like, little chit chat, I was thinking of collecting numbers but she was only thinking about making money - reason was she was leaving in days for a month. 35 ST and 25 for room in Delmon, I refused politely but then the usual PRC behavior, acted precious and refused to give me her number too. F*** off *****.

Then another PRC approached (6) and quoted me 40 for ST. No thanks.

These women are not crazy. I believe the punters have driven up the prices. So its made it tough for the rest of us.

Thanks for your report.. it was quite factual as I also had the similar experience. I had two PRC during end of July - 1st week of Aug (I have not posted detailed reports as it is basically the same thing) and first one was about 27-30 yrs with big head lights and was at BD 35 short time -two pops and second one was at BD 70 full night ( i overpaid i later thought). Second girl was younger- 23 yrs and short - than the first and had natural great boobs - my weakness. I thought first was better in service than the second one.
