Thanks for taking the time to reply.

It's not that I haven't found places like that, but they're all with in-house girls and I wanted to bring one from the outside. I prefer to pick up freelancers, since I believe you get more bang for the buck (if you'll excuse the pun).

I can live without the yellow lighting, but not having carpeting on the floor instantly knocks out a hotel from my list.

Since my post, I did find one place that charges BD 20 for the room and an extra BD 5 if you have a "guest". It fits all my requirements and it's fairly close to me. The only issue I have is that it's located in a crowded neighborhood, with lots of traffic (foot and vehicles) in front, and I'd rather not be seen going in to a hotel with someone so close to where I live. It's not the best place I've seen and it's definitely not the worst, but it's clean and comfy so I would be comfortable to take even non / semi-pros there. They are currently renovating the lobby of the hotel, I hope the rooms will follow soon. But I leave it as a last option.

I'm looking around at all the hotels and daily rent flats that I possibly can, but most of them aren't the right fit for my criteria. There are more places than I can possibly look at on my own, so I'm turning to the forum for help.

I am looking for a room which has the following:

1. Yellow (NOT white) bulbs / lighting.

2. double bed (obviously: D).

3. carpeted floor.

4. allows 'visitors' from outside up to the room, preferably at no extra charge.

5. Juffair / Hoora / Manama area.

I have a few places that fit the bill, but they are all dumps. Looking for one that is in good condition.

Price range BD 20-30.

Have found a couple of nice hotels that fit all my requirements except price, but BD 35-40 for a room. One person.

Any recommendations?

Hey folks,

I've been scouting hotels the last couple of days. Some hotels that I thought were dry have turned out to be GF, with in-house girls. Go figure. It seems that I have had serious misconceptions about the state of affairs here.

Anyways, today came across a hotel that is basically on the lower end of the spectrum, comparable to furnished flats. 'Hotel' is definitely the wrong term, should be called a 'furnished flat'.

Talking to the bell boy, asked him about the nationalities of the girls and he mentioned them having Brazilians in house.

FR for the spa at the Crystal Palace. Top floor by the pool. The rooms are fully enclosed with individual bathrooms / showers; not the partial height partitions I've seen a lot of people complain about. I got a late 20's Thai girl just a bit over 5 ft tall.
