I am now on a semi-long-term consulting assignment in Amman and in Saudi Arabia. Very good money but very bad places for hobbying. Having to depart the lusty pleasures of Kiev (from time to time) means that I am out of my comfort zone and need to re-sharpen old skills.

I have been here in Amman for two weeks, with another week to go before returning. I am staying at a company apartment so going down to the hotel lobby to check out the possible local talent is a bit difficult and who knows where the butterflies may visit from night to night. I have also read all of the Jordan forum and the bars such as Hangover are a definite financial turn-off. So for two weeks, I have been mostly working but also curious as to how I can score some fun.

Last Thursday I went to one of the hotels for dinner. Afterwards, one of the taxi drivers tried to take me home for far more than the standard fare, also a normal occurrence but I just decline. Having lived in Kiev all these years, sticking you hand out at any location is useful here as well to pick up the very many cabs not part of the hotel scam..

Anything interesting in Aqaba? Where do all the Pinay housemaids and hotel clerks hangout during the weekend? There must be some nightclubs or bars. An older report mentioned a Filipino restaurant near the Hilton. Can anyone confirm or update the status?

Any hints are greatly appreciated. It does not look promising but thought I would ask.

Nothing to do on Friday so went to the Abdali Market after a friend told me that this is where a lot of the Philippine girls go on Fridays, he wasn't wrong. They are there is the numbers alongside all the locals and tourists looking for bargains. I've been coming back and forth to Amman for the last year or so and have had a chance to build a picture of its mongering scene.

1. Streets. Never had an experience with SW in Amman, but heard many times that there are ladies that would jump in your car for anything between 10JD-50JD. Mostly found in Jordan University area, Mecca street. Myself I saw couple of them walking down the adjacent streets to Rainbow street. To get one you'll need a car and some arabic. Better a local friend.

2. Cocktail bars. Well, the biggest ripoff I ever seen. There are 2 kinds. Arabic cocktail bars and CIS cocktail bars. The first ones are quite boring with lots of smoke, arab dancing and fat girls. But sometimes pearls can be found from Tunisia or Morocco. I know one guy who got lucky and took a number of one Tunisian girl and later met her on his ground. The problem is the language. You have to speak some arabic, cause the girls don't speak arabic there. The CIS bars (mostly found in some hotels like Imperial Hotel, or in Sweifieh and Shmisani areas). Be ready to pay around 15JD for a drink for the lady and yours is not really less expensive. I left there around 200JD first time I went there and won't be coming back unless invited. Managed to get couple of number of Ukranian / Belorussian girls. But it doesn't guarantee you fast track to score. First you'll have to take them for a dinner, then maybe Dead Sea or even Aqaba and only then you'll get your reward, maybe. And it may be free, so your dinner and resort bill will not go higher. But I heard there are ones who go for it right away for like 150 JD...

Well guys I have been to Amman in many many occasions and I can tell you I travel all over the world and this is the hardest country to get laid. My friend just arrived there last week he is arab young and has money and we both have a hard time getting some there. All the 4 to5 star hotels Hyatt Meridian etc still have working girls in lobby asking 150jd to 200 jd.

Those hotels have no problem letting you checkin a room with any lady. The smaller hotels will rarely let you do it unless you get a younger kid at the desk at night who will do it for money. In Irbid they still have the local daytime places 15jd a pop but there constantly moving around and you must know someone to get in there trust me it gets packed usually 5 to 6 girls sloppy looking some Indonesians also. Local woman want a love story and you need to waste time on them and you can get anal action only sometimes if there divorced you can get pussy but they are 98% looking for Arab guys only because there family will never allow marriage to foreigners and they know its a waste of time then. You can pick up local girls at the mall same thing must speak arabic and play love story then they are down. Also couple of local iraqi older women using there house as a brohtel but like I said older sloppy 20 to 30jd good luck guys stick to the Pinays there at least they are down when you see them at the bars like pitchers etc.
