IMHO The Lebanese people you'd find in Hamra are some of the best dressed people in the Middle East. And because they spend a good deal of time buying good shoes, nice blazers, following fashion, they do care that you are dressed well as well.

A lot of the local girls will speak English, many of them very fluently, but honestly, if you are not dressed well, it will be quite tough. Hell, even if you are dressed well, it doesn't mean it's a sure thing.

However, this does not mean that the people are not very friendly, and really cool people. It's just that if you want to make things sexual with the girls there, you better look as sexy and classy as you can.

IF he does (again the profiling thing) , then the working girls may be more at ease with you. I don't mean to make the Lebanese as racist as a whole, but keep in mind that most dark skinned people are laborers from Africa, not middle / upper class educated professionals. In this respect, I think it's less racist than classist. If you are here for a few weeks, it may be better to just head over to the pubs in Hamra or Gemayze and start hanging out. The girls there are more "bohemian" than the girls who go to the big dance clubs and many of them are "open." If you are relatively young, good looking and intelligent you may make a good trophy for an artist / actor / dj. In Hamra you will have no problem using English.

I understand what you are saying about the darker skinned people, and that seems to be the case all places I have travelled in the world. But it's all good, I just present myself in the best possible light, be light-hearted, respectful, and have fun. Through this website I found it very useful and precise, and mainly I thank Redbunny who is well informed.

I checked partly all the places they mentioned, but there is one place that was not mentioned, and I would like to guide you to this place.

Let me start first it's mainly Syrian girls, location Nahr Ibrahim, sea road near to Sanita it's a building with 2 floors near to a fish market.

You'll find a bunch of girls some have extra pounds some are skinny some are tall, but I'll be frank beauty not bad but is rare.

Beirut is a tough nut to crack. Although sex is everywhere, no matter how much chasing you do you get very little. I was on a short mission with my boss there, the hotel staff just smiled and said go to super nightclubs and the bar around Hamra (this is crown plaza hotel) , the taxi drivers are too suspicious for my taste. So I gave up and called those escort services' numbers (the same numbers are in all the websites, tells you something) , who advised me to go to a hotel in Rouche' called Hildon, get a room for $60, then await the escort, which took 90 minutes, and for $300 you get an amateur who told her husband (or whoever that seemed over the phone) that she went to get her nails done. I negotiated down to $200, bot a massage and a BBJ, and got the hick out of there.

I will be frequenting Beirut, and I hope to find another strategy to getting laid, this escort business is very poor value (and service) for money.
