I don't have much to report as I mostly did the tourist during my time in Beirut. I lucked up and the Lebanese girl that I met at the airport in Dubai does "work" on the side, so anything I did was with her. Lebanon is an amazing country, so much to see and to, and was overwhelmed by the magnitude of beautiful girls there. And not one of them that I spoke with were rude to me. I thought being an African-American would be a disadvantage, but if anything it seemed to have helped because almost everyone I came in contact with thought I was a basketball player. I am sure that had to do with more of my build and dress, but everywhere I went it seemed people went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and having a good time. It took a while to get past all the stares, but I just chalk that up due to mild curiosity, but overall if I wasn't so hell bent on trying to see other countries, I would definitely pass back through Lebanon.

The place I stayed at was the Standard I of Beirut Homes in Hamra. I believe that place would be a monger's dream. Right in the thick of things, and no front desk to boot. It's apartment styled, and it is very clean, nice, and wasn't expensive at all. I paid something like $112 a night, and the place was laid, albeit kinda small but more than accommodating. Anytime my girl came by, there were no issues and no questions.

As for the girl, well I actually shouldn't say that as she was in the north end of the 30's, but I gave something less than $120 each time, and she didn't seemed to bothered by it. Although I later found out that she said normally she gets $300, but because of how we met initially not wanting to really put herself out there like that, she said I am not asking, but whatever you feel comfortable in giving. I probably should have given more as she was very accommodating, and didn't turn down any advances of doing the deed. I can say I was very happy with my 2nd Arabic experience (as first was in Morocco)

I really appreciate you guys sharing the information you did. If anyone is thinking of going to Lebanon, go, that country is great, gorgeous women everywhere, great food, and tons to see and do.

Well, this was during that time I rented a car and went up north looking for the bordello someone talked about here, and that was some lost time. I drove up north following the description until I got to a military checkpoint, then I thought of what was happening in the country next door so I headed back. Not wanting to lose time I called Carmen around 12 noon, and arranged for a 3 pm. It took me 1 hour to find the place in hamra traffic, and another 20 minutes to find a parking spot. Recently I got a hold of the contacts of one lebanese girl who apparently escorts on the side for extra bucks. True. RB is the best source on the forum, his recommedation for Carmen was the highlight of one of my visits, but when he said to PM I was under the impression that there are some hidden jewels and extra info associated with the subscription and what not. So I say sharing is caring.

Anyway, not sure what the scene is like in Beirut, but our firm says amman is now our stop in the region, let's see for how long.

Problem is plenty of visitors come and take the information and never come back anymore. They don't report back their experiences, good or bad, old or new.

Some of them are very good posters that are disgusted and are not coming back anymore.
