So just make sure you tell them you want a room for two adults when you make the booking. If they ask you about the second guest once you arrive, say that they will pass by and present their ID when they arrive. Normally what happens is if you get an escort, she will go to the reception, give them the room # and name, they will call you to ask if you're expecting a visitor. After you confirm, reception will register the guest and let them up. Very discreet. For the next day, you can just call the hotel in the morning and tell them that you've checked out already. Normally if you are not in the room and the room is empty of any belongings, they will automatically check you out as well.

For booking, I suggest to call and ask for the nightly rate in lbp for residents. They'll know you are a local. Then if the price is ok go to the hotel and secure the booking.
