I have read the forum back for two years and do not see this one addressed. I will be making a 2 week business trip to Oman and would like to bring my GF who is a Philippine national with a Bahrain residence permit as a non-professional laborer. Not sure which hotel yet, likely Grand Hyatt or Intercon.

A few questions:

Hotel.

1. Any problem checking into a major hotel as a couple?

2. Do we need to check in exactly at the same time, given the reservation is for two?

Visa for Her.

3. Anyone have any experience with getting a visa on arrival as a GCC resident? Explanations on the web are a little fuzzy as to exact qualifications.

4. Could the hotel sponsor a tourist visa? Again a little fuzzy on the web.

5. Any other issues I should be aware of?

Managed to connect with a MR group who has two ladies on a flat in Al Khuwair. One of them was good around 7 and the other one was 5. They charge RO 35 for one hour and includes FS. For a place like Muscat it's good as you have little option. The girl was good and open to everything.

I lived in Salalah for two years, left last year. There is the Hilton and Intercontinental. Both have bars and you will find some ladies, but very few. No massage places that I ever found.
