Thoughts on Damman where I haven't been but thought I'd share the following.

You do not have any chance in Dammam. But still you have a great potential to have some nice experience.

Firstly if you have a car, directly go to bahrain. It is easy to go there, do not worry to loose your way. I do not know whether your car has permission to pass the border or not. If has very easy, simply pass the border, if not again not a big deal. Drive to border, park your car there. Do not worry nothing happen to your car there. Once I parked my car around 10 days. On the parking lots you will see lots of drivers. If you can not, again do not worry they will see you. Pay them not more than 250 SAR. Normal is 200SAR if you negotiate well. On the way take his mobile phone number, next day when you go back you can call him again.

Still if you do not want to park your car there, you can find some taxis at dammam also. General fare is 400 SAR. Do not pay more than500 SAR. If you need I can send couple of mobile phone numbers of some trusted drivers.

What you will do in bahrain? You can find tons of options in bahrain section. But if you will stay in shot time period (1-2 days) I suggest you to go to delmon internationel hotel. It is not expensive, it has a big and famous bar- diggers with wide selection of mainly PRC and thais. Therefore you do not need to waste your time to find nice pick up point. If you are planning to spend longer time, read the forum pages, you will find all info you need with clear explanations.

First of all, it's possible to get laid in Dammam and Saudi in general, it's just not especially easy.

2nd, if you are going to go from Dammam to Bahrain, you can get a bus for 50 SAR or so, or a taxi for 200-250 SAR (from Dammam, not from the bridge) , each way. 400-500 is nuts. Did you actually pay that? It's not that far. Or you can split a taxi with others and end up only paying 50-100 per person. Gulf Air and Bahrain Air also have regular flights to Bahrain. I'm not sure if they fly out of Dammam (that would be a VERY short flight, don't know if they'd even have enough room to take off and land without circling) , but they do fly from Riyadh every day.

Finally, Delmon is okay for beginners and Digger's is notorious, but IMO it's also the single worst place in Bahrain to pick up girls. I hate that place. But. This is the Saudi Arabia forum. If you want information on Bahrain, skip on over to that thread, there's plenty there.

NBC News in the US showed an interview tonight with Prince Alwaleed. The girls are all Saudi girls and native ones to add. As for getting laid in Saudi. Best bet is just book a ticket to Dubai over the weekend and save yourself both the headache or risk.

I've mentioned this before, but to reiterate: one of the really great places to meet girls in Riyadh is in the Diplomatic Quarter. There are never any haiyya there, there are often lots of girls, even Saudis walk around without hijab and niqab. It's very open.

Just recently I went to an event there, and minutes after walking in this super super cute little Saudi teenager walks up to me giddy and smiling, along with her sexy sister and pretty cousin, and asks to take my photo. I say okay, and pose for a couple pictures. They told me it was because I was so handsome (I'm not that handsome). We exchanged contact info. I'm talking to her now, pretty excited about a future date though she is being coy about coming over to my home.

The trick I guess is in figuring out when / where these events are. I have a few different ways.

1. After arriving in Saudi I registered with my own embassy. They send me notices about upcoming events at their embassy sometimes.

2. I know a Saudi girl that I've tried to stay very friendly with who for some reason finds out about many of these events. Often she forwards me invitations.

3. I have contacted many embassies directly asking them for information about events. I say a few flattering things about their country and that I would be very interested in any events they were hosting etc. Sometimes I get official invites to events that are otherwise closed to non-nationals this way. But I only get about a 5% response rate. Some of the better ones to contact IMO are: USA, Canada, UK, France, Philippines, Thailand, Korea, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, UAE, South Africa. I've been to some of those embassies haven't been to others. Some I'm just speculating about. Some of the above (South Africa, for instance) are not even in the DQ but outside of it somewhere.

4. Make friends with expats from other countries. Sometimes they will know what is up at their own embassy, and sometimes you must have an invite from another citizen in order to get in to the events. I have been tipped off about events because I have friends here from the Philippines, Canada, South Africa, etc. Who told me about something going on at their own embassy.

Not every event is worth going to, some will be very boring, some will have few women. Many are free of charge, others cost something. Events at the American embassy tend to be very over-priced but they have free ones sometimes, too. But no matter what, any event you get into is almost guaranteed to be a better place to meet women than going to the shopping mall or Thalia Street, and you also don't run the risk of getting busted by the haiyya.

Will you have a visa that allows you to exit and reenter the country as you please? If so. Bahrain is just across the causeway and it is widely regarded as the brothel of the Gulf.

Saudi Arabia is really not the place to go looking for quick hook-ups. It's possible. Just difficult and it really depends on who you know and where you can gain access to.

Unfortunately I can't help you with fast hook-ups. I've had some great luck in Saudi but my methods all take time. The only ways to get girls quickly that I know of I must admit is all hearsay and I haven't been able to verify any of it.
