Well I finally struck gold. It wasn't the taxi drivers, nor the conceirge but rather another hotel guest I met at Sham Palace bar who hooked me up with some numbers, one number led to another and I had them coming and going. One even turned up at 8am cause I was going to leave the same day at noon (I had called her at that time!).

Standard rate for 2-3 hours is $100 with maybe a 1000 SYR P tip for taxi if she was good. I was surprised, Syrian women are quite hot in bed, BBBJs were standard practice and they aren't too concerned if you wear a cap or not. Once you get them going in bed they are quite responsive. ALl the ones I had were between 22-25, married or divorced. Only 2 out of the 4 spoke decent English to comunicate, the rest were on sign language with me!

Seems like a lot of questions being asked without any answers around here! I think if you speak Arabic the route to finding gorls would be easier.

I got lucky last time I went to Damascus about a year back, after great difficulty in communication using both sign language and the few words of Arabic I know (Habibti!!) I got accross to a taxi driver what I was looking for. He made a few calls and sorted me out at this house, 8/10 girl, 6/10 service. If my memory serves me well, I must have paid around $60-70 for the hour or so I was there. I tried the next night with another taxi driver, after dirivng me around town for 3 hours he showed me some some really bad stuff which I wasn't interested in. The third night it was a total strike out, lots of driving and nothing available. I gave up after that!

I'll be going back to Damascus later this month. If any of you who asked questions got sorted out, would apprecite some advise or better yet some phone contacts on my PM.

I have been to Syria a few times but have not hit the jackpot yet.
Generally, I am reluctant to be 'led by the nose' by taxi drivers and the like in such places for fear of being 'stitched up'.

I have visited the Supernight Club 'Cave de Roi" it's Ok but the usual spenight club deal...buy champagne tonight and girl can meet you tomorrow afternoon. I don't buy that kind of bullshit as it seems a sure-fire route to disappointment.

In all my trips I have stayed at Le Meridien. I have seen a few skanky looking *****s loitering around the hotel, but frankly nothing that should be touched with a barge-pole! Heard that the night club there may offer something better, but it didn't!

I have also seen carloads of girls hovering outside around the hotel, but didn't think it was very wise to approach. Besides, I figured that they would never allow them into your hotel room.

The Baath Party have an office inside the hotel for chrissakes!
So without taking too many risks, or lowering my standards too low I have not found the keys to success yet. Does anyone have any tips, advise, contact nos. I would like to meet some student girls, as they can be a lot of fun and grateful for being shown a good time and being well looked after.

I take the opportunity to shed some light on Damascus/Syria. My participation here is merely infromartion, without the practical experience for what its worth. The information obtained was from a 30 yrs old taxi driver as he was showing me around Damascus in the daylight time last month.

The hill station road going towards the Ain al Khudra has resturants/night clubs on both sides of the road with the stream. The drinking and dancing starts after 1 am and I was told plenty women are available. Most of these girls have come from other parts/small towns of Syria and ofcourse their dadys dont know what they are doing in Damascus.

Most Taxi drivers know the places where you can get laid. I cant remember the name of the speical area I was told where they can be have for SL500 and above with the good ones (according to the taxi driver's standard) will be SL2000 max ($50). The hill top Alqadsiya? (with a lot of telecom antenas towers etc) is the place to go with your girl if you dont have a place where the deed is done in the car no one cares. The classy girls can go as high as SL7000 for a full night.

The posh area place is UbrRomana where you could find a lot of talent making eye contact with you while sitting in/around the Pizza Hot (good pizza place, there is no pizza hut in Syria) near Cham Palace Hotel.

The traffic from the Gulf (GCC) pours in in June/July. Two kind of apartments can be rented. The kind of ones for Bachelors coming for hobby is different area than the ones for Family accomodation. The cops will show up at the apartment doors for bachelors basically to milk some money out. $2-5 bucks would be enought for them.

A lot of talent is to be seen near Bab Tuma (christan area) at night. In addition the hill station Buledan and Zubaidan during summer is gushing with tourists from the GCC.

Syria is looking sad so I thought I would add my two cents. I have been there and there is action especially summer but what I found is that you either go to The Super night clubs as they call it which I only found one downtown but didn't enter. Or the best way which is more discreet is of course pulling out the arabic phrase book and asking Mr. Taxi driver and renting an apartment or villa for this purpose. I had to Arab Christian girls put on a show for me for about $100 they weren't into at all but they were about 7 so I joined in they sex in general I found with my expereinces was dissapointing and they all had schedules due to the Gulf traffic.
