Haha, that sounds familiar. I recently had my regular Egyptian and a Tajiki ask me for $1000 each, and that when I come to Dubai, they will be with me for free. I said I will give you money when I'm in Dubai LOL.

Now above is just an estimate and may not be entirely accurate but whichever way you cut it, it's going to be a long way from $1,000 every 4 days for most of the girls.

Definitely the situation has changed drastically but the point I'm trying to make is that most of these girls have money stashed away in their bank accounts in their home countries, so they have hefty savings they can use during times like these. I also know quite a few wg's who have "worked" in Dubai for a few years and they own several homes and drive a Lexus back in their country. Anyways, I will stick with my rule. Do not send money unless you can verify the girl is seriously struggling which is a difficult thing to do. If you do, you're a sucker because she is sendingg 100 other guys the same messages she is sending you, it's a habit, trust me. I have over the years noticed this behaviour with EVERY wg that I've kept in touch with post our first meeting and I came to the conclusion that it's best just to keep their number in your mobile and only communicate with them when you are about to see them again, but in between, no need to develop a friendship or whatever because they will just ask you for money. In the majority of cases, you are just an ATM machine for them, a customer.

Wise words. I have been through this a couple of times, and even knowing the outcome decided to do it. Same as giving money to charity but for a lesser good cause.

I know this from a few Uzbek WG's. After every 4 days, they are sending back home an average of 1000 USD. A month's income is close to 10,000 USD. These girls ask for money even during the best of times, it's a habit. I've had this experience with a slew of girls over the years. Unless you know for a sure a girl is struggling, don't send money. If you do, you're a sucker. Sorry, that's just my opinion.

You might be right for a few of the top end independents, but IMHO the arithmetic simply doesn't add up for the vast majority of WGs, no matter what they may tell you.

I reckon that realistically most girls would be doing pretty well to pull in Dhs1500 x 4 nights a week. Yes Thursday and Friday, but one night off and a 50% strike rate Saturday to Wednesday (without dropping their price) gives 4 x 1500 = Dhs6 k / week.

Many (majority?) have agents who cream off a decent % - the girls are pretty reticent to say how much, but I can't believe its less than 25% on average (or they have to pay for their own flights, visas) = (1500).

Then there's accommodation & food (no, its not included in the agents fee), mobile phone, ciggies, makeup etc = (1,000).

Then they're paying to go out 6 nights a week. Taxis, club entry charges (yes I know they negotiate monthly rates but even so), couple of drinks, got to be the thick end of Dhs200/ night = (1,200).

And they're chicks, they buy new boots & panties, go to the beauty shop. Minimum weekly has to be = (500).

So that nets them maybe Dhs1,800 or $500/ week.

Now above is just an estimate and may not be entirely accurate but whichever way you cut it, it's going to be a long way from $1,000 every 4 days for most of the girls.

My system at the moment is to stick with a couple of favoured regulars for 1 afternoon / night a week each round at my place (the only plus side of the current working from home), a good dinner and pay a bit over the odds to keep them going and make up for the loss of trade elsewhere.

Just so that you guys know, I was offered a share of an agency outside of Dubai. I know this guy from way back and we went to a bar twice when I was in his city and visiting his girls. He would deliver the girl and come back after couple of hours with another so we could go out. I could chose to take the new one or continue with the same or take them both.

Snow / WR, you guys have clearly done this money thing before. I have now built up a neat portfolio of loans to SB. I am not expecting the money to be returned but just have a few evenings out. At this rate, I am pretty much booked up for the next few months. The only drawback is that the further out the meeting is from the date of the loan, the less impactful it will be and she will be expecting some cash during the meeting too.

Is that the right approach or should I insist on getting paid back? Right now, I have told each of them that this is a loan and they can repay me whenever.

I've taken a break from punting and its been almost 2 months now. Punting with this virus out there is high risk and best to refrain from it for the next few months or so, depending on how long this whole scenario lasts. It does look like this whole year may be a goner but we will have to wait and see.

As for sending Girls money, I have been asked by quite a few in Dubai. I have not sent any because I know these girls (and I'm talking about the ones that have messaged me) have a lot of money stashed in their bank accounts back in their home country and have enough to book a flight out of UAE.
