Back in Dubai the 19th through the 23rd and thinking about going out to the East Coast to do some diving (warm up for a Sinai trip the following week .. bit rusty as I haven't dove in years) and maybe check out the Friday night bullfights I have heard about. From what I can tell though is (as its closer to Oman) it is a bit more conservative and the local Emir has banned alcohol. Lack of Alcohol, more conservative, usually means hard casual mongering. There any tourist mongering out at theEast Coast (and recommendations) or is this an exists but who you know / secret squirrel thing. If the latter, anybody want to PM me an introduction.

Will only do Duba proper for a day this time ... think I just might have to hit the Fantasia now that the cat is out of the bag. Also, where exactly is the 'Regal" I hear so much about, any cabi know it?

The follow-up article states that the new law will be officially announced at a gala function, open to public and "professionals", at Fantasia Hotel this Thursday night at 9pm. 50DH entry including a drink and a raffle ticket. First prize is a "mystery overnight adventure." Might be worth a look.

Gulf News, 1 April, 2006- Today the Dubai municipality announced a general amnesty and the legalization of prostitution in Dubai. Colonel M. Abaya announced the move before the U.N. human rights commission meeting in Geneva "effective immediately, prostitution will no longer be a punishable offense in Dubai" said the Colonel.

The Emirate of Dubai has decided that the human rights issues and additional factors that were taken into consideration in this decision outweigh the prevailing social norms in the Gulf.

Sounds like good news for mongers in DXB! I only hope this is not an April fool´s joke!

I don't negotiate very detail but I always specify when the girl leaves. I have an advantage here in that my apartment door has a key lock as opposed to a latch so I lock the door and retain the key. If she decides to leave when you are asleep she will either jump over the balcony or rummage for the key and wake you. Never really a problem though.

If I want something special, eg group, I will make this clear. As for anal - yes I enjoy but its not essential however BBBJs are.

Make them relax, even the experienced ones are nervous with a new customer. Offer a drink or 5, talk and tell her what you like rather than just ripping off her clothes - same rules apply as for non P4P's except there is no doubt on the outcome.

Be tight on price in the club though. 500 is 500 not 500 plus taxi plus take away plus anything else she can think of. Of course always have the right money, they don't take credit cards or give change! There is no advantage in dollars, western union still take their cut in dollars or dirhams.

Photos always optional but always tried. Take a few non sex ones first and show her. They then start to show a bit more and off you go...

I have a ruputation in the clubs. The girls talk to each other all the time. They know I will pay, so paying up front is rarely asked for. If it is I show her all the money and give 50% now 50% when she leaves.

I also ask they put their phone on mute/meeting. Nothing worse than Russian conversations in bed with her mates, although I find calls from other guys highly amusing..

You get a feel for how it is going to go in the club. Any doubt about attitude go for another, its a business they are here to serve and there are plenty of providers.

Summarising, establish a price,respect them, be fair and pay, treat them like a lady. You will get better service that way and doors or even anus's will open!!

I suggest you know your price point, and your "must have" menu items and make sure they are clear beforehand. I know it can be a mood killer, but once out of the way, you can have a nice relaxed evening.

I personally do not negotiate menu very often, and 90% of the time, everything is fine, the other 10%, well, my problem for not clearing it up.

I prefer price and duration well understood before departure, it avoids trouble later.

Sht100, if you want Greek I would definitely ask up front as otherwise you may be disappointed. Both MK and I have asked up front about Greek in the past so we are never let down.

For my Filipinas, they know I like Greek and the newbie is told I like and so we get that out of the way very early. Those that do not like Greek, I have no issues with and still play but I do not want them to be shocked at my suggestion nor me disappointed. Other than that 90% is a good percentage.

Daily tidbit from Gulf News: Man accused of sleeping with prostitute 'suffers from trauma'

Dubai: A former soldier who still has "mental suffering" due to the Kosovo war is on trial for sleeping with a prostitute whom he accused of stealing his 4,000 euros (about Dh17,704).

The Dubai Public Prosecution charged the former soldier, E.O., with having an illicit relationship with the Azerbaijani, M., who was also charged with prostitution and theft.

The soldier's advocate told the Dubai Court of First Instance yesterday that her client is innocent and "he was an ex-soldier who participated in the war in Kosovo, due to which he is still suffering mentally"...

E.O. denied having any relations with the woman, but was simply looking for furnished accommodation.

M. confessed that she is a sex worker and that she slept with E.O. but denied stealing his money.

She said he forgot the cash in her flat and she gave it to her boss to return it.

NIce to see some manners here unlike other sites. Mongering in Dubai is like no other place. Long time members do know many of the girls very well. Yeah they are working but they will also spend time with regulars and have a laugh. If you are skilled enough you get discounts and freebies from time to time.

I suggest that some long term members of this thread have known some WG´s who sort of became friends, certainly true in my case. If you feel abused, that was not really my intention.

I agree with you that we all tread a very thin ethical line with this issue, but I like to maintain myself firmly on the side of "good" if I can, and I do appreciate how delusional and hypocritical that may appear to some. No excuse.

Your explanation sounds reasonable to me, my "humor" is many times questionable as well.

Alright, guess I will apologize here as gallow humour does not seem go down well on this particular board. No offense was meant and I was not attempting to trivialize the matter in the slightest. Spent the last 10 year bouncing from one 3rd world war zone / atrocity site to the next (Bosnia->Kosovo-> Sierra Leone->Bosnia->Kosovo->Bosnia->Iraq->Afghan->Iraq) and was making a joke which I see now was in bad taste for the area. Considering we all make use of a service which makes it margins on human slavery (lets get realistic, we are not getting with locals here) surprised to see such a backlash on this. Apologies to all. I also agree. I posted the news report to remind us all that even in "safe" Dubai, this happens. In fact, last year it happened 12 times, and that's only official figures. Girls bodies found in the desert, in dumpsters etc. Not a laughing matter.
