Are you using online numbers instead of SIM? Then there is a chance for this to happen. A lot of online phone numbers are recycled and WhatsApp can filter them. I once had an issue with a number I took from a website.

No I am not using an online number. The number in question is actually a sim number which is why I found it strange. One thing I do do is that I delete my WhatsApp account after I finish for the day and then reopen it when I'm feeling the itch again. Not sure if this type of activity would flag it.

That's a first for me! Did you get any message from WhatsApp saying why you're banned or anything?

WhatsApp just says I was banned for being a spam account. But the ban always gets lifted after I request a review within 24 h. Learnt to have a backup number now.

Go into any pharmacy, they have it behind the counter. Ask the pharmacist. I've never had an issue at different pharmacies.

Oh, while I'm at it, car and driver contacts too.

If the driver is not necessary, try renting from Hertz and Europcar. They have pickup offices all around dubai and I find the price very reasonable. I personally use europcar. I fly emirates, pick up the car at terminal 3 after landing and return it when leaving. Book online and give a copy of your passport and drivers licence upon arrival.

You can buy viagra there, over the counter. I can't imagine it would be an issue to carry from the UK, but why bother when you can pick it up locally.

I never carry my passport. Drivers licence in wallet and picture copy of passport on phone has normally worked for me.

Hi all. Anyone know of any monthly / weekly rental places suitable for one person (with occasional visitor of course = green). Apartments are generally yearly rentals, apart-hotels and AirBnB work out to be more than a hotel room. But I guess good value if you're sharing. Oh, while I'm at it, car and driver contacts too.

How is Bahrain compared to dubai? On massagerepublic dubai has alot more talent. But it does seem like saudis prefer Bahrain for some reason.

My info is from 2017 and before that. But I'm quite sure the scene is still the same. Bahrain was the most convenient place for punting, for me at least. Almost every furnished apartment or hotel in the Hoora area was a Brothel. They had anywhere from 10 to 50 girls, depending on the apartment / hotel. You walk into one of the fuck flats (furnished apartments) in Hoora, ask the receptionist to see the room, ask the bellboy if they have girls while seeing the rooms, check in the room, get the room numbers from the bellboy after tipping him 1 BD, and start calling the rooms. Girls will come to your room, you choose and enjoy. I have not seen this model anywhere else in the world and by that I mean the quantity. I'm not kidding that almost every hotel or apartment had in house girls. I don't think it's like that in Dubai, the scene in Dubai is different and in another league.
