I guess as you've managed to post you already have a VPN. If you're posting from elsewhere check out the Blocked ISG forum from United Arab Emirates page. That'll give you all information you need for accessing porn here.

It's as safe to download behind a VPN here as it is anywhere else. Your provider knows you are downloading, they just don't know what. Whether they ever check that out fully I have no idea.

In any case, you need a proxy server to download porno movies from internet in DXB.

I wouldn't recommand to do so, better bring them in on DVD's / USB / HDD in order to avoid an unattended visit.

I cannot speak for Doha since I have never flown through there on commercial flight, but I have connected commercial flight in Dubai. On that trip, I had quite a few sex toys in my carryon luggage and did not have a problem other than the gate area Dubai Airport Authorities making a money grab for any carryon luggage weighing over 10 kg (I flew in on KLM which only allows carrying of 12 kg or less). When I passed my bags through X-Ray machine, the hijab wearing lady did not even look amused by the screened contents of my bag on her screen. Yes, all hand luggage on Doha flights goes through security check. If they have any doubt they will ask you to open it. Some times the local woman will open your bag. She is sure going to get excited when she will see some of your gifts!

Until a few years ago hand luggage had to go through a scanner. For the most part they seem pretty disinterested, but I guess that may change depending on what pops up on their monitor.

If you switched over to Le Meridean near Dubai Airport you have made an excellent choice. This Hotel is as green as it gets. It was never reported red in last many years. I had meeting in lobby Wednesday evening and I noticed that some very good looking girls moving in and out of lift without being bothered by anybody. The good thing about this place is reception and lifts are in different direction. Jules bar is in Le Meridean village which is part of this complex. You have to walk around swimming pool to enter the village which has excellent restaurants, a nightclub and the famous Jules.

I can also only confirm that LeMeridien is green.

In the last ten years it only happenend once, that reception gave ma call, if I'd wait a guest.

(ok, I can understand, why they asked, because my former GF came around at 2am (solo to my room where I was wainting her) just wearing a very short black leather dress with overknees. Kinda bitchy style.

Thanks for this response, and understood. You make some good points (and in a more elegant manner than Cunts68 is clearly capable of) and fully noted by my non-LE ass! The infrequent action had in Dubai has been on the whole less than great (contacts were previously provided by other punters plus some collected by myself over time) so didn't feel it worth reporting but in hindsight I guess average experiences are also worth reporting so as fellow mongers know to stay clear. Quality varies but is worth checking out yourself, and could depend on the night and time of day. Places like Atlantis, grosvenor, fairmont seem to be high quality commensurate with price. Next come Regal, premiere, Kubu with relatively mid level quality. Next probably seaview and staying alive, with york and panorama kinda in last place. Not sure this ia entirely accurate for the last two sets as people's rating of girls in terms of looks seems sometimes divergent.

Nooners can be had at TGIT and Panorama, though seems quality is crappy of late.

Cost.

CIS (AED 2000+). Atlantis / Grosvener / Fairmont (Cavelli) (AED 800-1200 ST / 1000-2000 LT). Regal / Premiere / Kubu (AED 500-800/800-1200). York / Panorama.

Thanks to all that contribute to this forum on a regular basis. It is a goldmine of information. Additional thanks for the recon / feedback on Rad Blu status. It appears to be a safe bet, especially if you are bringing girls from outside the hotel bars / clubs. Apparently that makes a difference.
