Never do that for testing HIV or Hepatites "B" C". If God forbid you are tested positive then you will be picked up by DHA Ambulance and kept in isolation. Once your cancellation process (In case of Residents) is complete you are taken to the airport and deported. If you are on visit visa they will ask you to arrange flight and exit the country. All hospitals, normal clinics are connected to DHA and it is mandatory for them to inform DHA. Hence get tested in the Z clinic or other equivalent and pay higher price in cash. We are all mongering and taking risks. For few quids don't get in trouble.

It is common practice among Resident mongers to get tested 2 months before expiry of your Residence visa. If something goes wrong, you have 2 months to wind up and start life in some other country.

There is no issue with Hepatitis see, they even don't screen for it at visa renewal anymore and it is not consideredas STF. For hepatitis be only certain progressions get tested for it and those don't include desk jobs.

Only test for visa renewal is HIV.

Apart from this, there are more options. You can always get tested at the usual hospitals. Doctors arent idiots, they'll refer all the tests other than HIV and you can make sure of it as well (you can give a cover story 'oh I had that checked just couple days ago as I was returning from home country, so we can skip that one). This way, your insurance will pay for the costs of testing instead of you.

Why such confusion before or after? It does not matter if you come to Dubai any time of year except month of Ramadan. It may start end of March which goes on for one month. Mongering in Ramadan is another subject. First come to Dubai, monger, post a report and then you can ask next set of questions.

I doubt this makes any difference. Even during the fasting month clubs are still open and expect for music its business as usual. In fact this probably is a better time as the lighting is not dim and no music. So for mongering its ideal as you see clearly and speak / negotiate without having to shout.

Anyway back to your question it really doesn't matter.
