Till 5-6 years ago the Israeli prostitution scene was mainly illegal russian girls that were smugled to Israel almost in any imaginable way.

This girls were ignored by the authorities because they didn't enter Israel legaly and were controled by the russian Mafia soldiers, a lot of abusing took place during this years.

several years ago after some legistlation against [CodeWord908] that enabled the police to arrest the pimps the police cracked down the scene arrested the pimps and deported all the girls (abused or not and without asking the girls what they wanted).


Currently Israel is clean from Trafficked russian prostitutes unlike Europe or the UK that didn't take the same measures.

All articles in the media are reffering to the period before the police took action.

The police and authorities of course chose the easy way and conciderd all traficked girls as abused ones despite the fact that the majority of this girls came to Israel to work as prostitutes willingly.

I went to Ramat Gan and tried to look for this club. Parked my car near Diamond exchange and walked every where around. But could not find the place. I even asked some people around and couple of taxi drivers. No body knew where this club was.

Can you or someone who knows post the correct address/ph number of this place.

I don't know the address but remember its the down town Sheriton Hotel. I used to have a drink in its bar waiting for the bursa club to open.

Come out of the Hotel and there is a crossroads. cross over the larger of the roads and follow the road uphill, The Bursa club is about two blocks up on a corner. Its a big rectangular building with a neon sign. its been a few years since I was there hope this helps some.

Ussualy don't go to clubs like pussycat (which have never been too) or Bursa club in Ramat Gan, but was bored with nothing to do and was driving by this boursa club and decided to stop off to check it out.

Got there at 8. 30 pm and there was no entrance fee, other than an obligatory 1st drink at 40 NIS. (After 11 pm there is an 80nis entrance fee which gives you one drink). About 15 girls ranging from 6 to 8's

The guy who wrote this BBC article is delusional and the "news" that he mentions there were true, although very uncommon, some 5 years ago.

I am a heavy user of paid sex, I always chat with the ladies, and I have encountered ladies trafficked for sex only twice in my life. This was a few years ago.

If you want a more fair point of view, read the last "Trafficking in Persons Report" (June 2007) by US Department of State.

The main complaint there against Israel is the unfair payment for "contract labor of low-skilled workers from People’s Republic of China (P. R. C.), Romania, . Etc who migrate voluntarily for contract labor in the construction, agriculture, and health care industries".

If you want to compare it for example with the UK, then the main complain there against UK is of it being "primarily a destination country for women, children and men trafficked for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor. " But we all know BBC’s unfair attitude towards Israel, so I am not surprised when reading this article.
