All good advices.

I never pay upfront in the bar or on the street. However, it is customary in my experience that the girl will ask for money in the room before they start their session.

Thinking of it, the fact she (Li Gi Gi - phonetic) turned LT into ST after I paid her is really no different if a ST girl will not perform as quoted or give poor service after I paid her.

Oh well, chalk it up for experience. On the other hand, she did provide good services and did let me take some good photos ... see photo section latter.

Money up front? What can I say? To me, a real caution flag! I always recommend specifying "pay after" BEFORE leaving the bar; some will agree, others not, but at least then you know. In fact, the girl I did pull from the report below did ask for money up front. It was uncalled for, as I am a known entity (too well known). On the other hand, she was new, and I'm sure just following directions from the more experienced girls to avoid any potential rip offs. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, figuring she hadn't learned to differentiate between who to trust and who not to, and paid in advance. Due to the language barrier, almost wished I hadn't, as there were some "service" difficulties. But everything did work out; it was all language misunderstandings. But still, should have kept my option open to pay her a ST rate and ask her to leave.

My experience, greater chance with a CIS than chinese. If a CIS does want pay in advance, I usually walk.

My advice: let her go, write it off, then post the name here as a caution to others. After all, what can you really do? Not worth it to cause a scene (a fact that they count on). I disagree with any attempt to take the money away from her. My outlook: as soon as you hand the money to her, it's hers. Personally, I just file it in the bad experience, never pull again category. But by specifying "pay after", these situations are greatly reduced, though not completely eliminated.

And this is THE reason I come down so hard on guys who post the "I didn't have the money", "no small bills", etc., etc. THAT ruins pay after for all of us.

Went to Cyclone at around 11:00 pm. The place was packed with chicks and not much guys. Ramadan. Good. Seemed to have more eastern Europeans than Chinese.

1st hand info
Friday night, dropped by Cyclone about 10:30. While paying my 50 dhs entrance fee, noticed 6-8 chinese girls sitting outside where it was warm, right where they could keep an eye on the entrance. Venturing inside, air conditioning blasting; poor girls shivering in their revealing tops. Another 20-25 girls, mostly chinese; all of 5-6 guys. Unfortunately, as I'm known, did not draw any in pursuit. However, when some unknown did enter, it was like he was being chased by a swarm of 5-6 mosquitoes, all looking to get a bite of his wallet.

The usual A-list about. Talking to one, I mentioned I was surprised to find Cyclone open. So was she. In fact, she said she was hoping it would be closed, so she could take a week off. When I said that as she was self-employed, she could take any day off, she replied "No, no; when office open, WORK". Who said that the "Puritan Work Ethic" is dead? Even in this low season, she was still managing to pull 2 clients a night!

By 11:30, number of guys had filtered in, but ratio still very favorable for punters. Had seen a trickle of girls going out the door with punters, noticeably some pairs for 3-somes. But still lot around; now augmented with CIS. Buyers market (seemed to me, anyway); some of the CIS girls were approaching me based on a moment's eye contact. I was planning to pull 1 of the a-lists during this low season, figuring could get a match on price, especially for ST. Given that the air-conditioning is not blasting at the far end of the bar, by the now fenced off dance floor, a number of girls will go there to get warm.

Talked to Miss 800, a girl whose normal rate is a bit large for my budget. Chatted with her a bit; small response until I made it clear I was interested (bad thing about being known - they know what you pay). When I asked for her ST rate, I got a "700". "700?" (didn't seem to be much discount from the LT quote from 2 months back). I will give her credit; she corrected my misunderstanding; what she had actually said was "500".

OK, bit steep, but within reason given Cyclone+evening surcharge, plus, I thought, very limited chance making it back to try for the double header. However, as I recommend, pin down details BEFORE leaving the bar, perhaps even more so with an a-lister. How many shots? "ONE". "One?", I said, rolling my eyes, making a face, and shaking my head. She, knowing I have been know to occasionally avail myself of the office help there, asked me how many shots do I usually take with a girl. "Three". "Three!!", she replied; now her turn to roll the eyes, make the face and shake her head. She quoted a 1000. (For me, that's a quote that is meant to discourage, but, if the punter is stupid enough to take, then fine...)

Now, I'm old school. I believe in compromise. Seemed reasonable to me: she said 1; I said 3; logic dictated 2. I made the offer, she firmly shook her head no. It was close to 12; perhaps an hour later, she would have been more agreeable. But I was not inclined to stick around, to wait and see if she'd have any other offers. I politely excused myself, saying I'd try fishing elsewhere.

Candy had received a phone call, so was waiting for the client; maybe next time. Couple other rather well endowed ladies, who, given a reasonable quote, I'd been willing to see if it was natural or gel pads. However, before I could make an offer, the fresh face from 2 weeks ago latched onto me.

My last visit to Cyclone, had gotten her mobile number, but as she'd only been here for a week, the english was practically non-existent. Now, 2 weeks later, had the basic patter down, though still a bit awkward with the accent. When I asked her where she lived, Bur Dubai or Diera, she didn't know, only replying, "Alrigaro". I couldn't place any Japanese hotels here. It was only later on that I decyphered that to be Al Rigga Road (of course).

She quoted 600, LT, 3 shots. That wasn't going to happen; I offered 500, she declined. I excused myself, walked outside to make a few phone calls to some regulars I hadn't seen tonight; she appeared, accepted. Off we went.

For ME, always a bit difficult to know when to 1st pull. Too early, the language barrier, plus the girl not really knowing what's the service standard, can cause problems. But the protective shell hasn't developed yet. In hindsight, I'd have left this girl to mature on the shelf another 2 weeks. But the CBJ was offset by a very nice massage, and a very nice FS. C+; B- given the cute face, firm body, and attractive hair style.

Cyclone still the place to go during Ramadan.

Quick report. My usual haunts are the Regal, Jockeys and occasionally Rockbottoms when mongering. In my humble opinion Rockafellas cannot be beaten even with the crap table arrangement and no music in Ramadan.

Just for a change I tried Amnesia next to the Hard Rock café prior to Ramadan. Verdict – don’t bother! 100 dirhams to get in (including a free drink Wow) and the usual stock, including a few from the Regal, except they are all trying for 700. Music was Arabic and lighting too low. Lots of locals – hence pricing policy.

Presently out of Dubai – hence I can use this site – in Malta now then Europe and the Philippines (have reports there as well). Back in town in December for a couple of weeks.

Does anyone have any advice on how to access WSG while in the UAE? Maybe best to reply to this on PM system.

The Hotel I work at was visited by the Dubai Municipalty, so heres the current situation:

No background music allowed, no Oud players at Cafes or Tents. Bars can open if they serve food.

This must remain in force "Until Further Notice".

No clarification yet on how long this will be. We are getting loads of calls from concerned GCC people wanting to know if this will still be in place over Eid.

No-One knows yet.
