As of Christmas time, only Seven Doors at Gulshan 2 circle seemed to be open. And couple of the girls they had were also from other spas that were closed down. Some of the lesser known spas are open too but I generally avoid them due to security / blackmail concerns.

Recently there has been lot of talks about blackmailing from spas. Did any of the forum members experience any such incident?

AFAIK, Tipu's services are still safe and he has a good collection of birds.

Please avoid all Spa in Gulshan and Banani. There has been a change in authority and asked to close all Spa till they figure out how things can get back to normal. Me along with some other members reach out Adil / Tanvir and was given this information. So please stay away from Gulshan / Banani now.

Guest house and hotels should be safe as long as you have Some form of ID. We used a hotel in ghulshan 1 with amazing view of the lake and rooftop bar / restaurant and it was very safe and well maintained and cleaned.
