I am new to this forum, a traveler to Dhaka once a month. I tried the massage at the Spa here at Pan Pacific, massage sucked but I chanced on asking the masseuse on a HJ. She said she will be caught, but asked me 5000 TK. Being new and not knowing the rates ended up paying 9 k with massage included.

Went to Smile on Monday this week. Staffs at the counter were friendly but cautious as we went there for the first time. Then one of the staffs came with their brochure and asked us to wait for their manager to come. Their brochure says tk 2200 for a full body massage. The manager came and asked us who referred us there. We simply said that we found them from this blog. Then she asked me if we knew their rates and I said its similar to the rates mentioned in the brochure. Then she asked us to leave very rudely and told us the brochure is 3 years old and she got very angry with the staff who gave us the brochure. We then didn't want to escalate the argument and decided to leave. She thought that we were not serious but when she realised its for real then she tried to convince us. But we decided not to stay there anymore as she wasn't friendly at all.

Went to Reera later that evening and took an oil massage. Asked the masseurs for a FS. She politely declined the offer and told me its strictly prohibited there and she will lose her job if she attempts to do so. However, she gave me her contact number and would be happy to be called.
