I am planning to plunge into my first trip to Dhaka very soon. Can someone tell me hotel / guest house addresses in Benani area that are girl-friendly? Price range that I am looking for is around $75 / day. Any further help regarding girls' contact would also be much obliged. Thanks in advance.

I don't see anything wrong with the post. Directions, pricing, hotel recommendations, that is what this board is all about, isn't it? How is a monger new to a specific location to find his way without them?

Believe me when I say that the local police are fully aware of any mongering location before we are. This is true in all of the places I have been, including the good ol' USA, land of puritans, prudes, and overpriced prosties.

Just a caution. Recently there have been a lot of street walkers near Hotel Lakeshore in Gulshan 2. Many (all?) of these are shemales (ladyboys) who can be very difficult to get out of the car once they are in. Also there has been a lot of police activity in the evenings here. Trying to cut down on the trend I guess.

Start at Labaid on Road 35 / Kemal Ataturk corner. Walk towards Banani (away from Gulshan Circle) until you come to an alley on the left with a small guard-house on the corner.

Turn into the alley and walk towards the apartment block entrance at the end. About halfway down you will see a closed gate on the left with a small vision slot. Knock on the gate. If the gate-keeper asks you any questions, tell him a rickshaw driver sent you.

I'm think it is the last high gate on the left side of the alley.

There will be a bunch of men lounging around inside (I have no idea who they are. Not customers). Ask for a manager and someone should help you out.

The prices are around 3-4000 taka inside (the bedrooms are pretty worn looking) or 6-7000 to take the girl home with you for a while.

I don't these these girls would even know how to give you a massage. This ain't Thailand.

They close pretty early (like everything else in Dhaka). I think midnight is pretty late for them.

Opens at 11 am, and prices are slightly flexible. They asked for 4k and I bargained down to 3. 5k, I guess you can push it to 3k with a bit more haggling.

Details about rates please? You did mention you didn't like quality that much, so need to make a decision based on prices.
