I have been to the place near Labaid in Gulshan 2. It seems to be safe enough, despite the somewhat strange crowd usually lounging around inside.

Every time, we send you an email advising you that we cannot locate your alleged subscription purchase, and every time your email bounces.

We've also received several emails from you from a different email address. In those emails, you provided proof of your subscription purchase in the form of numbers that you suggest are related to your purchase. These numbers have never matched any order numbers, invoice numbers, or credit card transaction numbers we have in our system.

We've emailed you back each time, asking you to forward a copy of the invoice that our shopping cart program sends out automatically when anyone makes a legitimate subscription purchase, and instead you continue to respond with what appear to be completely random numbers and insisting that we activate your subscription.

Eventually, when you decide that we're not going to further investigate your alleged subscription purchase, you post another message in the forum publicly claiming that we've failed to activate your subscription.

Here's what I think: I think you've discovered that with some subscription websites if you complain that your subscription was never activated, that they will just go ahead and activate a subscription because it's easier than doing the work to search and find your alleged subscription.

In short, I think you are trying to scam me.

That isn't going to work with me, and I'll thank you to stop trying to rip me off by falsely claiming that you bought a subscription.

What amazes me is that you'll do all this work just to con somebody out of $20 bucks? How cheap can you get?

Anyway, this is my last word on the subject, and all further posts and emails on this subject will be deleted without comment.

Moving to Dhaka in a couple of months and I was wondering if anyone can explain which sections of Dhaka is safe and not safe. Is it in general safe to walk around by foot in Dhaka during the day or does it depend on the neighbourhood?

Further I have read on some of the embassie's websites that it can be dangorous to use the rickshaw at night due to the danger of being mocked (I think). Any advice on that? Is rickshaws for the day and taxis for the night?
