I am planning a trip to Yangon for a week. Have Thinking of staying at the Best Western Chinatown. Getting the Jr. Suite at $68 a night. Recently a forum member had stayed there and he had said that the hotel is girl friendly so hopefully will not have any trouble on that account.

I have extensively gone through the forum and read all about the girl scene there. Of what I have been able to understand, following are the places to visit:

I was in Keng Tung last week and tried very hard to go to Mong La, but it was utterly impossible for a foreigner to go there due to some conflict between the Burmese military and armed ethnic groups. Seems the Chinese are still able to cross over from China, but no access for Westerners.

I have been trying to work out the best places in Myanmar to monger. My impression from reading through past posts on the forum and from spending som time in Yangon and Naypiydaw:

1. Yangon.

2. Mong La.

3. Keng Thung.

Apart from those three places, it seems pretty dead. It would be great if anyone could recommend another place in Myanmar. I am interested in places with a reasonably large selection of girls, especially SYTs.

I will report back from my trip, as I always do.

Did you managed to go kengtung. Sometime around Feb. This year, the immigration at Tachileik won't allow me to go Kengtung because of fighting at the border towns. So I was only allowed to remain in Tachilek.

I was able to get position info from a workout tracker app that I had running when I visited these places. Here are the exact coordinates of the three spots:

1. Houses on the curved road where I took the girl: 21.238541, 99.623910 (coordinates are the center house of 5 total in a row).

2. Storefront brothels about 100 m further down the road from the first place: 21.238159, 99.625246.

3. Open area with 7 different houses (maybe 25 ladies total. Big selection): 21.236683, 99.625045.

The last place there is definitely worth checking out. It'll look pretty sleepy until you get up close. It's off the road 20-30 m and you have to go through a gate structure (no gate, just an unattended gatehouse) to get into the area. It's like a parking lot with lady houses all around it's perimeter.

- The second group was a row of storefront bars right on the main road to Tachileik. There were 3 places all clustered together, but the girls all looked older.

- The third group was a courtyard structure 50 meters to the west of the main road to Tachileik. It had seven individual houses, and there were some nice girls around 18-20.

I couldn't get that slim one from the first place off of my mind so we headed back that way. Mama really wasn't willing to negotiate on LT and she pushed ST hard. I insisted that I didn't want ST, but Mama wanted to make the sale. She touched the girls chest and motioned for me to come over and do the same, so I did. The sales tactic worked. She started at 50 k and we bargained her down to 30 k. The room was pitch black with no ceiling and had a dirty mattress, but it didn't matter. She got the job done.

Fourth night was back in Tachileik, pulled another girl from the same house as the first night. Nothing remarkable, just another nice gal.

Never been to Mong La, but I was on the Chinese side of the Mong la border, there I didn't see any Burmese ladies, just older Chinese ladies, I also hired a few electric bike guys to show me around town. Like you described nothing worth taking. I think I was asked 200 rmb after bargaining and coming alone later.

I think you got the location wrong. I think you are talking about Daluo, the border town across from Mong La on China side. This post I am writing about Tachileik on the border with Mae Sai, Thailand.
