The disco in the basement of Asia Plaza has a good selection but it is really too dark to get a good look at the goods. There is a cover, I think it was Kyat 5000 (about US$ 6 at the time) and it included a beer. The cheapest whisky was red lable at Kyat 2,500.

There is a fashion show and musical preformance, and the some of the girls in the fashion show were amazingly hot, but if they are for sale I would guess thay would be expensive. During the show you can buy various sorts of adornments (wreaths, crowns) which you can then place on the model who of your choice.

The girls in the disco (not the fashion show models) did not speak a lot of English. I met one who knew a little but she was not hot so I wound up taking a girl who had no English skils. The bidding started at US$ 40 and quickly went to US$20, for long time of course. I was staying in the Panorama which is around the corner, but when we came out the girl and the disco attenents insisted on taking a cab. I do not know if this is some scam for the cabbies to make money but the disco attendents said it was to avoid problems with the police. It only cost kyat 1000 (US$ 1.1) so better safe than sorry. The half-indian half-burmese girl was great. Nice bare back blowjow with just the right finger poke from behind and excellent sex. Even though the price was negotiated (by writing on a slip of paper) in dollars she wanted to be paid in kyat. I think the girls get a lower exchange rate that foreigners do.

The Shanghai Night club is on Shwe Dagon Pagoda road. It is in a strip that has several "Music Restaurants" and entertainment centers. The rooftop bar at the Zero Zone Rock Restaurant (more or less across the street from the Shanghai) has a nice view of the city, cheap drafts beer (Kyat 200 or 300) and a nice fashion show and musical preformance. It has a disco too but I did not go. I think the Shanghai Nightclub had a kyat 2000 cover that included one drink. The cheapest whisky is kyat 1000. One was very good but the other could best described as the wife experience, she good moody, would not cheer up, did not want to fuck, etc. We has agreed on US$15 each for long time and I though I was going to get a little lesbian show too, but that never came about. I sent the one girl home without even fucking her once. I gave her FEC 20 (a dollar equivelent coupons that the Myanmar government make all foreigners buy upon entry to the country. FEC were trading at a discount to the dollar and nobody wants they, though they do have real monetary vale they are a pain in the ass to change or use. I wound up giveing the other girl US $ 20 and kyat 1000 for taxi fair.

This reply is a bit late but maybe it can be of use to others.

The basement of the Equitorial Hotel (it has a new name now, The Park something, but cab drivers still now the old name) has a disco which is full of young ladies. Several that I saw there were quite stunning, and they spoke English well enough to have actual conversations. I did not take any from there but I heard they are more expensive than other places. Looks and English count Drinks in the disco are super expensive (US$5, FEC's are taken at face value). The cover is US$6 and it includes one drink. The hotel also had a sign outside the disco touting a special room rate (US$30) if you booked after 10 PM so I would assume they are girl friendly.

I was in Yangoon two years ago for the second time. I found some night clubs in the SW area of town, west of the Sule Pagoda. There were some high-rise buildings on a street perpendicular to Mahabandoola, maybe Lamadaw or Shwedaungdan Street. You got taken up about 9 floors to the night club on the top floor. When I got off, it was unbelievable. There were about 50+ Burmese girls, some were really good looking. It's about $30USD, they will make sure you get to a hotel that is accomodating. To avoid having to pay double, make sure your hotel allows "guests." I picked a really good-looking girl, with an incredible rack. One of the best GF experiences I've had. I wanted to stay with her, but had to get back to BKK the next morning.

I'm hesitating between Burma and Laos for going for a trip. Sightseeing and mongering. Is it Burma better, as mongering in Laos seems to be illegal? Does somebody have any experience in those 2 countries? I know that probably Thailand is better for mongering but I'the like to combine stopover in Bangkok with some new experience.
