I'm new to the forum and wanted to share details of a few recent trips under the relevant country listings. Was in Phnom Penh for 3 days. Stayed at the Amanjaya Pancam on Sisowath Quay. A suitably guest friendly hotel (I had checked before booking, and when I checked in, I was again informed that you need to register your guest but since I had paid for double occupancy, no further charges).

Sisowath seems to be the place to stay in. It seems to be the tourist hub and runs along the river. Lots of hotels along the road overlooking the river, lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. So good place to stay. On my first night, I checked out some of the bars along 104th street, 110th street etc. Everywhere in town seems to be a US $2 or 3 tuk tuk ride away. I guess I was a little early. Around 11 pm and there were no customers and the girls were all sitting around outside. Didn't care to be the only one in a bar, so I got myself a foot massage to pass the time. I was lead up to a room and lay down on a mattress and the lady helpfully suggested I take off my pants. To facilitate the foot massage! Declined as I didn't really care for the surroundings.

A little past 12, I made my way to Pontoon. The place was reasonably full. Some attractive women (some of them seemed to be with boyfriends etc, so tread carefully). I was beginning to get tired, so didn't want to hang around too long. Met an attractive short Cambodian girl, agreed to USD50 for LT and headed back to the hotel. Turned out to be not too great a choice. Pretty lazy in bed. After I was done, I realized I really didn't want her hanging around and preferred to be alone. So packed her off.

Had some work the next day, with a little bit of sightseeing (the obligatory genocide museum visit. Pretty grim place) and a spa visit thrown in (Bodhi spa. Quite expensive for PP. Didn't think it was worth it). At night, I made my way to Darling Darling at Naga word as I wanted to see what PP has to offer at the other end of the spectrum. Nice place, though not too big I thought. Lots of attractive women and in greater numbers than at Pontoon. A few of them hang out in the bar itself, while many more were seated outside in a lounge type of area. Which was a bit odd as you wouldn't really want to walk up to anyone there as they were all silently engrossed in their phones with no customers in sight. You would have thought they would come inside the bar area and put themselves out there if they were interested in transacting.

Anyway, I chatted up this very attactive Cambodian girl. Agreed terms. USD100 for ST! I thought it was a bit stiff given rates elsewhere in the city but that seems to be the prevailing rate at this establishment. We headed back to the hotel. Had a far better time than the previous night (I guess you get what you pay for). Darling Darling seems to be a more downmarket version of Brix in Singapore. I like the place, though expensive by PP standards.

Well, since I woke up in the late evening I couldn't eat breakfast & lunch. Got dressed up and headed towards the Golden Sorya Mall. There is a Bar of Indian owners, had a beer there chatting the bar business with them and went to Sorya shopping center. Dinner was from BBQ Chicken on the 5th floor. The part time girls were so beautiful, I had a little talk with them. The food was so tasty and went back to Pontoon. Buddy its a sleepy town at this time of the year but victory hill is the place for some action. If you do visit Cambodia, a visit to sihanoukville is definitely recommended. Early next year should be fun as right now its low season. Quite a few beauties there.

Coolabah hotel paid 29.70 $ per night.

Nice friendly ambience and guest friendly. Manager is a Russian lady. Very nice.

And the Khmer people are a friendly lot, have received warm hospitality from them.

I am definitely visiting back this October for a week again.

Woke at well past 10 am and headed for breakfast, all 4 of us. Decided to go shopping. Hit the streets and headed to the central market. Had a look around, nothing interesting for us guys or the girls. Then the girls took us to a mall near the market (I think it was called sorya mall. Not the golden sorya mall). Scouted around and we offered the girls to buy them a couple of dresses. They had a look around but found nothing that interested them. In fact they even suggested that the prices are on the higher side and they wanted to take us where they usually shop for clothes in another mall. So off the 4 of us went and the girls directed the tuk tuk fellow to the mall. Arrived and we entered and the hunt for dresses started in earnest. After about half an hour, they settled for a couple of dresses and then they bargained.

The shop lady asked for 20 $ a piece first and the girls finally settled it at 13 $ a piece. (it was a kind of the same dress that the girls liked at sorya mall but there it was at 30 $). Meanwhile I took the girl aside and asked her to pick a perfume of her choice. Then we hailed a tuk tuk (whilst we were bargaining with the tuk tuk guy, the girls were told that since they are with foreigners they would be charged a little extra for the ride back) headed out to lunch at the riverside café and back to the hotel for the afternoon siesta.

Woke up at 6 pm and headed towards the spa for massage for the 4 of us which we had prebooked earlier in the morning. After the massage, got ready and headed out to street 51. Had a look around at walkabout, pretty deserted. Loads of fl's but all MILF types. Had a round of drinks and a couple of pool games later decided to head out for dinner at 9 pm. After dinner headed towards pontoon for the final night of revelry in PP. Danced away the night and at 2 am headed for the hotel since we had a 10 am flight to catch out of PP. Arrived at the hotel had a steamy night. The early morning escapade was the most amorous to say the least.

Woke up at 7 am and had the final escapade. Final sign off for an amazing vacation which lasted 6 days. The Khmer hospitality was heart warming to say the least. Really nice people who have been through torturous times. This was way beyond our expectations. We really had the best times of our lives here.

Got ready and headed towards the airport at 8 am and both the girls accompanied us to the airport to bid adieu to us.

Woke up at 8. 30 am and rushed to shower and catch breakfast. Met my friend and his arm candy and the 4 of us headed out on the road to grab a quick bite before the giant ibis bus arrived for the return trip back to PP (tickets are at 10 $, which we bought a day before). Left sihanoukville at 10 am and by the time we reached PP it was nearly 3 pm. Got down at the bus terminal near the night market on the riverfront and hitched a ride of 1. 5 $ to monsoon hotel on street 130.

Checked in and headed out for lunch. Had local Khmer cuisine and got back for an afternoon siesta. Woke up at 7 pm and got ready to explore some streets. Headed to street 136, and got into butterfly. Good crowd for low season. Girls were table top dancing and particularly 1 girl was a fabulous dancer, my friend headed towards her but a few moments later came back dis appointed as she did not bar fine.

Anyways hung around and a couple of rounds of drinks later we decided to head out for shanghai on street 51.

Hailed a tuk tuk and reached and entered. Found nothing particularly interesting but the 3 of us sat there for an hour or so. Nice bar overall. At nearly 10 pm headed out for dinner and had some street food. My friend decided to call the hottie from street 172. We made it to her bar at midnight.

Bar fined her and hailed a tuk tuk for darling darling at naga.

Its a nice place with the swish set mingling with well heeled Asian crowd. It took us some time find a place. Its a cosy place with extremely well done interiors but a very small dance floor. And it took us some time to figure out who's with who and the remaining available girls. Some of the good looking 1's asked for 100 $ for ST and 175 $ for LT. The best looking girls were already with company. Ordered a round of drinks and danced away to the rhythm of a live band. At nearly 2 am the band dispersed. Could see a few sloshed guests being escorted out of the club through a side entrance into the lobby of the hotel. The casino was packed. On the way back inside, I noticed a lounge area of sorts where the chicks hung around. Some of them making eye contact, definite action station here. Danced away for some more time, by 3. 30 am it started to empty out and we also decided to head out for our hotel.

Hailed a tuk tuk and headed to monsoon with both our arm candies in tow for a wonderful late night coupled with an even more beautiful early dawn.

Not much in the way of info on this thread in ages. I've lived here for a little while, know the city pretty well, can speak the language. This is what I have.

Street 172. A tourist area with a few bars. The only ones worth visiting in my opinion are Gladiator (which is a mainstream restaurant by day) and 172 bar, which has a number of cute girls working...

In the meanwhile my friend's arm candy had lugged along with a friend. So the 5 of us had a hearty meal, and decided to head for the waterfall but a 2 hour tuk tuk ride was a little heavy to digest so scrapped the idea and headed for the otres beach for a 4 $ ride.

Got down near white palms or something, and took up a couple of hammocks to lounge around.

It was nearly 2. 30 pm and the afternoon sun was blazing away in all its glory. Bur we were well protected in the hut.

Ordered a drink for round 1. Lazed around in the hammock. After nearly an hour headed into the water and splashed around. Too hot for kayaking or scuba diving.

Nearly at 5 pm ordered a coffee and a coconut cooler. Decided to move back to serendipity. A very few number of tourists were to be seen.

Met the manager at coolabah, a Russian lady who lived with her husband in sihanoukville. Asked her about a good dining option for sea food and she directed us to a restaurant on victory beach. It has a sacred banyan tree at its entrance.

Spoke to her about various activities in the area, the small talk veered towards our country and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that she headed towards India's northern regions for some fresh mountain air and a pleasant climate in the September of each year.

Went to change and hailed a tuktuk for a 4 $ RIDE INTO VICTORY beach. Had a good meal of sea food and then after the meal we walked the beach for a while.

The girls decided they want to head for city gold, a KTV with karaoke. At nearly 1 o. 30 pm headed for city gold. Ushered in and were given the list of songs. In English and local Khmer. The girls had a blast for a couple of hours singing and drinking and making merry.

My friends arm candy asked us if she could invite her friends over, so my friend gave her the go ahead and a couple of them appeared in 30 minutes to join the revelry.

Finally at 2 am decided to head back to coolabah for a couple of steamy sessions before dawn.

Both of us woke up around 7 am. I showered and packed and headed for breakfast, in the meanwhile she lived nearby and headed to her room to fetch her bag. Met her down and had breakfast. Waiting for the pick up to arrive, booked the 8. 45 am Toyota hiace by golden bayon express to sihanoukville. Paid 12 $ per head.

As soon as we finished the breakfast, the pick up arrived and my friend could not finish his breakfast.

Anyways the tuk tuk guy was getting restless so headed out to the van station. Got uncomfortable seats in the back of the van but could not help it as it was full.

Reached sihanoukville at 1. 30 pm and headed for hotel coolabah. Nice cosy hotel located near serendipity beach. The beach very accessible. Settled in and went for lunch. After lunch headed for an afternoon session with the girl and siesta after it. Woke up at 6 pm. Decided to head out to victory beach but later along with my friend and my girl headed out to victory hill as we were not in the mood to explore the beach area. Went into victory hil at 8 pm but found to our surprise, quite empty except for a few people sitting in the bars. Girls all hanging around outside. Walked the street and decided to hang in our boots in the v lounge, as my friend spotted a few hotties outside. Went in and ordered 1st round of drinks and chatted up a pretty chick. Headed out to the beach at 1 am for dolphin shack, spotted dozzled revellers outside but headed inside anyways for a drink. Nothing to write home about. Decided first to take a walk on the beach, hung around for half an hour and then headed back to coolabah. Walking. Lovely beach atmosphere. It was nearly 2. 30 am when we reached the hotel.

Was ready for a session of love making and it seemed the aura of a beach adds to one's horniness.

Finally went to sleep at 3. 30 am.

Bargained for tuk tuk to killing fields and back and was taken aback at the killing fields, not expecting to encounter such brutality, indeed the Khmer people have been to hell and back their spirits and zest for life and gusto intact.

Anyways made our way back to PP for some lunch and called up a friends friend on the way back to meet her at night at her workplace.

Slept off the afternoon and headed out at 7. 30 pm for aquick look around streets 130,136, 144. Found nothing interesting and so took a map and headed out to street 172 all along sisowath quay, the evening breeze blowing had a calming effect.

Called her up since found it difficult finding directions and she directed me to her bar. Exchanged some pleasantries and headed inside for a drink.

After a drink each, me and my friend decided to head out with the girl. She introduced me to her friend and I was a little reluctant at first, but took the plunge and asked her out for ST, paid the barfine and headed out to dinner for local Khmer cuisine. Really enjoyed her company as she spoke decent enough English, and was quite a witty person. Not at all what I was expecting when I first decided to head out here. Both the girls were decent enough dancers. This second night made me realize the true warmth of the Khmer hospitality.

Nearly at midnight or so headed out to pontoon, paid 4 $ as entry for week ends and danced away the night till 4 am.

Returned at hotel along with the girl and had a steamy let off.

Really enjoyed her company and asked her to accompany me to sihanoukville. She replied in the affirmative.

Scores of FL'S eyed in pontoon but since it was pretty dark, could not be sure, and also spotted a few girls who I suspect were not 18.
