Loley (name changed) is a soft spoken slender girl at a bar whose name I withhold, one of two top lookers there, both easily 10's, the other one being Aloo (name changed), 19 yo, 154 cm, 40 kg. Loley and Aloo sit outside to attract customers, who are often handed to other girls inside the bar. They wear nice dresses and flat shoes and look like perfect dating material were I 30-some years younger. Not a yota of vulgarity. English is very basic, but google translate works wonders. Both girls are in the league of Jane March who played the lover in the filmed version of Marguerite Duras' "L'amante". Highly recommended reading au l'Indochine.

I was able to take Loley three times to my hotel room, but Aloo refused. I was infatuated with Loley anyway and ended up spending much less than I budgeted on pussy, but a little more on girly drinks to keep the good times rolling with her band of not quite so doable friends. They all need moeny and there is a strong social bond among these love birds. You got to invite the uglies also to make everybody feel nice..

I would strongly encourage you, to avoid believing anything that come out of a bar girl's mouth. These girls will tell you anything, to get away from giving you good service. Sob stories, kids waiting for them at home. Most constantly lie, about anything and everything.

Reg. Massage places, befriending a tuk tuk driver is a good idea.

Tuk tuk drivers are notorious liars. They will drive you to a long distance venue to earn money. The karaoke bars in Cambodia are called KTV, just like in China. They are located on 118 street, there are many of them, open 10 am to 4 am the next day. 3 US $ per hour. Drink 1 US $. Dirt cheap. They have enough English language songs to impress your conquest. KTV really is fun to extend the time with your girl. The tuk tuk driver wanted to drive to a far away "romantic" KTV and flatly denied the existence of KTV on 118 street. Liar.

Never pay up front before seeing your girl or massagist. All guys asking for money up front are scammers. All.

The post on this forum that 104 street has better looking, younger girls I found inaccurate. Some shill for those bars posted it, I suppose.

The district between 104 and 138 street is discrete. No cameras. No hassle from the backbacker folks. No preaching by anybody. No do gooders. No me too nonsense. Good.

I went to Khmer boxing. In my case to CTN TV station, Cambodia television network. They produce the content right near their headquarters. 10 min by tuk tuk, 2 US $. Ask the hotel reception. They check their online TV guide. Be there at the time of the live broadcast. No cues, but plenty of spectators, food stands, the real deal. Great boxers, great athletes and a real show, even though this is a male sport. Plenty of brutality when the champs knock out the fair ground losers with their elbows. They weaken them and in the final round brutalize them. Exciting in a way I have not yet understood, but also inhumane and brute. It is not high culture like soccer or tennis. One remedy is to go see youth khmer boxing. Between 12 and 16 there are few knockouts. Thai boxing is on at least 4 days a week. Go for it with your conquest. You might get your and her face on Cambodian TV for a split second.

The bar district gets percolated by very poor, dark skin, sullied, peddling kids. They swarm in from the river to beg. The police ride 3-pickup-caravans through the bar district with, say, 15 men on the pickups. Speakers mounted on the pickups remind everyone that the district is 18+. The begging kids hide behind cars and are just as soon on the streets again as the caravan has left. They are a real nuisance.

Finally to my friend be. I understood your offer as an invitation. Challenge was poor wording on my part. I have never shared in person and cannot really get comfy with the wing man concept. Thanks SreyMun, I saw that mentioned in forum. I will definitely be carrying only what I need and have and eye on it when possible. A little trick I learned is putting set amounts of cash ex $100 in the little change envelops you get from the bank and sealing them that way you can know if it's been tampered with don't have to pull out a whole wad of bills to take out a a few bills. Some extra bulk but a good measure of security.

Basically, "guest friendly" hotels are of three types: those which allow guests without any questions (other than maybe requiring a guest to leave ID at security or reception); those which only allow guests who are registered; those which allow a guest for an extra fee. If I have any question in my mind, I email the hotel directly and inquire if I can bring a guest to my room overnight without extra charge. I have always received a reply. 4 and 5 star hotels are usually pretty good at responding to inquires.

I don't have experience in Phnom Penh regarding 5 star properties. But I have personal knowledge of a few BKK hotels as a result of just asking directly and receiving a prompt response.

If they are not interested, they will not call you, but smile at you if you come the next day again to their restaurant. If they like you, they will text you. All of them are 18+.
