Stayed at the Point Boutique Hotel on 130St. For a week in early January- this hotel is located very close to riverside (believe only 1 or 2 buildings stand between a river view and the hotel). The hotel was so-so; stayed in room 101 and it had a balcony. The Good: room was clean, shower worked great and it was a large room. Girl friendly, they took the ladies ID upon arrival and called after departure. The rooftop bar was beautiful, as you could see the whole skyline. Price was between $32-34 a night. Bad: About a half-inch gap between the balcony door and the ground, this led to noise coming in as well as ants. The noise is not bad, could fall asleep very easily. Had to watch where I left drinks, could not leave them out on the counter opened due to ants. Also, the fridge did not work (most negative thing about the hotel).

Overall rating 3/5. Going to try the Lux next time!

Where on the Riverside? I have seen a few freelancers but all looked like drug addicts.

That would be them. You won't find anything else there.

- Secrets on Street 136 is interesting. Upscale with a live band. Nice furnishings. $20 barfine and $3 draft beers, compared to 10 and 1.50 for many hostess bars. The entrance-way is larger than most hostess bars. There are many girls there, with not that many customers. The girl's salary is higher than the other bars. Between 200-250 depending on their English skills. Not sure how the bar will make money.

Somewhat trying to copy Secrets in Pattaya, which is weird because that place looks to be on its last leg. $20 bar fine is ridiculous. You can use the rooms upstairs in the hotel though, just costs.

$250 a month isn't unheard of anymore. There are some other bars that pay that. Wages in general have really gone up in the last few years. Sweatshop salaries are up something like 400 percent in less than a decade.

Another interesting bar is the Phnom Penh Sharaton on Street 136. There's a few decent 18 year olds that hang out there. But they are super aggressive in pushing ladydrinks for herself and her friends. But if you don't mind, they will be fun since they allow you to fondle their breasts. One didn't wear underwear. They asked for 40. Probably can counter-offer. They move between the bar next door called Phnom Penh Hiltton.

Yes, it's an expansion of the Phnom Penh Hiltton, which is a grimey little bar but always fun. I can confirm that they'll go short time for 25 or 30 if you know how to play the game. If not, just pay 40 and be happy about I guess. As you say a lot of mileage possible right in the bar with some of them. Can even see guys getting a lot more than touching in there. Just watch out for the ladyboy.

Also quiet in December. At midnight, only a few girls around. They remodeled, but most of the stalls are not rented yet. The sign said between 450-500 per month.

GSM is dead. They were first renting those out for 1500 or something. Now they're down to 450 listed. Which means you could negotiate for even less, because nobody pays sticker price in Cambodia except foreigners who don't know any better. Place is over half empty. Doubt it will come back. Those days seem to be coming to a close. Make way for big spenders from China.

Fuck the Grand Waterfront Hotel on Street 130! They charge $10 extra for the second girl you bring in to your hotel room. Only hotel in Phnom Penh that I know of that does that. We cannot let Phnom Penh become like Pattaya, where it's free if you bring in one, but they charge you for each additional girl. It sucks if you like threesomes.

Sorry, its called Teno. E M. I ordered from pulse-clinic.com in Thailand. They can send by regular or express mail which sometimes comes very handy.

You can also get this at pharmacies in Phnom Penh. Not very difficult to find. Just walk up and ask for it.
