Could you please let me know what are the requirements for Mongers to land in PP from Thailand? I read previously that a $US deposit was required. Is this still the case and if so how much and how is this managed? Any other requirements, tests quarantine etc..

However, to enter Cambodia, special health insurance required, I heared. And, when going back to TH, 1 day quaratine, required, at least, plus Thai Pas.

For fully vaccinated to enter Cambodia, evisa done online for $36 US. Negative PCR test 72 hours before flight. Antigen test upon arrival. The $2000 US deposit is gone. Medical insurance is recommended but not mandatory. ZERO quarantine!

Yes, when you re-enter Thailand you go through the entire Thailand Pass routine again including 1 day at an AQ hotel, RT-PCR test etc.

I can confirm that 90% of the girly bars are open in Phnom Penh. The official full open date is 1st December but most of the bars are open already. Plenty of girls around, with more arriving daily from their provinces. ST and LT prices ver negotiable with the girls keen to meet guys. Streets 130 and 136 still have the highest concentration of bars, with streets 104,110, 118 and 5 also having some open bars. Drinks prices are reasonable. Draft beer $1. 50, spirits $3. 75, ladydrinks $3. 50-$4.

Sadly, Cambo is not an alternative to Thailand at this time. Both countries are seemingly proceeding to cautiously open to tourists / mongers in the not-too-distant future. As to how "distant", it's anybody's guess. Both countries still throw up disincentives including quarantines, insurance requirements, curfews, blah, blah, blah.

There are two facebook groups to which I belong and which I highly recommend, as they contain "real time" info posted by members who are "in country". Those groups are "Phnom Penh Hostess BarsGirly Bars" (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1062695980532551) and "Cambodia Visa and Work Permit Group" (https://www.facebook.com/groups/333901840112789).

Bottom line is that both Thailand and Cambo seem to have some bars operating "under the radar", but with lower quality of service provider options than to what we have been accustomed. I'm planning on my next trip to take place in March-April 2022 (with fingers crossed).

OK this differs from what I read on World Nomad, last updated on Dec. 24. They say you self isolate at their own accommodation if you test negative. "Anyone who tests positive upon arrival will be quarantined for 14 days at designated facilities. Travelers who test negative must self-isolate at their own accommodation. ".
